Did Jeffery Archer really write his novels?

Taking into consideration the recent libel trial which he lost and is now serving a 4 year prison sentence, and the fact that during the trial he has been proved time and time again to be a serial liar (he even bought a degree from America in order to gain entrance to Cambridge or Oxford - I can't remeber which), are we absolutely certain that he wrote his own books.

Or is there a well paid ghost writer out there somewhere who is living in luxury but is unable to tell the truth?
