Many years ago, when I was a naive young girl, I came across this literotica story about an ancient vampire who had been locked away by his enemies to die from starvation. Then, one of the enemies idiotic henchmen decides to throw this half dead girl into the cave where the vampire is locked away in so as to hide the evidence that he had kidnapped and abused her.
The girl awakens and discovers that vampires are real, the vampire is overcome by emotion for her and pities her position, having been abused and left to rot like him. He does not drink from her and instead, holds her, promising to stay with her until they both succumb to death. But in the fog of her memories, she recalls the sequence of the keypad noise from when she was half dead being brought into the cave. so she uses her amazing memory and frees them both.
