I was so excited to see my first story had been posted today. I was reading it. Only now it is not there. Did I do something wrong like remove it by accident? Somehow? Did someone change their mind and decide I couldn't post it here? Or was I so excited I only immagined it? Because that could totally happen right?

(Passing nodds to self) That could totally happen...

The story is there -- My Submissive Valentine, right? -- maybe halfway down the page. Maybe it moved as more stories were added.

It's a quirk of the posting pattern. At/around midnight (EST) a couple of new stories go up for the day. Sometime later they get withdrawn and then later a fuller list, including them, goes up. Don't know why it happens, but it does.

I posted, but it didn't come up.
I find your writing style very fluid and easy. The fact you leave everything to the imagination like a good movie script that doesn't do all the work for a director. It is very erotic, as the spell is not broken by intrusive porno language that might be a turn on for the writer but kills it dead for the reader. Nothing happens, but it is all about anticipation. Her deepest desires are understood and she is profoundly grateful. you might call it "Recognition". It stands on its own. It doesn't have to have a follow up.

Thank you,

I write many kinds of stories (including pornographic). This one is dear to me. That exact moment is the point of the piece, and I wouldn’t dream of ‘finishing’ it. There are plenty of other stories for that.

I have found the rest of the scent too intensely personal to share with the reader, even if the reader is me. (If that even makes sense)

When a story gets withdrawn and comes back, does it lose it's previous votes and views?

If you withdraw it, it loses everything; if it comes off the listing because the Web site is messing with the list, it doesn't lose what it had while it was still listed.

Another interesting phenomenon I've seen is that the list is apparent to different sets of computers at different times. The list appears on my desktop computer earlier than on my laptop, for instance, and they are networked to the same ISP. Go figure.
