DeviantART is ok I suppose. It's more of a popularity contest, like MySpace. But there are some good artists on there, you just have to sort through to find them.

It's very much a popularity contest. Mostly young teens from what I can tell and AVID anime fans. There's so much lousy anime fan-art clogging up that place that when I saw crappy anime drawings getting hundreds of comments of praise(for what reason I couldn't imagine) I packed it up.

I've been a member for years..... I had heaps of art posted up once, but cracked it with the popularity games and deleted it all, then I started putting things back up but gave up on that too after seeing it hadn't really changed at all.
