Three weeks in Italy and Destiny could not have been any more lost. It was bad enough that she'd totally lost any chance of a relationship back at home, and now here she was, lost from the college group she'd came to Italy with in the back alleys with no earthly clue where she was. She couldn't imagine how she'd come to not being able to find the hotel her group was staying in either, it was much too big. None the less, she walked through the crowds, occasionally glancing down to look at the piece of paper she was holding in her hand. How in the world was she going to get back to the hotel, when she had no idea where she was. The italian street signs seemed so...unfamiliar.

Sitting down for a moment on a crate, she sighed, placing her elbow upon her knee and holding her head with her hand as she listened the that of music around, and the quick talking of the italian crowds making their way by. Destiny was a tall nineteen year old, with light skin and hazel brown hair, her eyes a deep, oceanic shade of blue with a blended light green. Destiny also had a small figure, with proper curves and such as needed, long legs and a figure fit for what she was, a dancer. As skilled as she was with ballet, it was no surprise her dancing group had arranged a trip to Italy, in which they'd study ballet and their music as well. That hadn't gone well with her boyfriend, who had just broke up with her a week before the trip, despite that she would not be gone for long. Ever since then, everything seemed to be so unorganized.

And perhaps if the breakup hadn't hit her so hard, she wouldn't be falling into situations as she was so commonly doing. Standing finally, deciding that it'd be best to go and attempt to find help somewhere, she started on the light, cobble stoned path once more, turning her head to see people entering the spinning doors of what appeared to be a bar. Entering she brushed back her long, somewhat wavy hazel hair, those innocent, wide eyes scanning around for a moment as she straighened out her skirt. It was fashionably short, a bit higher than knee length, and a white, v-cut shirt, a light blue jean jacket over top it. Sitting down, she politely asked for water, perhaps the only thing the man understood, and waited. But it hadn't taken long for her to realize this wasn't the place to be.

There were much too many shady characters around, mostly in the corners in the back, or crowded around a pool table or poker table playing, mainly ignoring her. Until a man came over and sat beside her, placing a hand around her shoulder.

"Excuse me.." She turned on the barstool a bit to move away from him, listening as he laughed and two others came over. Standing, setting the money on the counter she started to walk towards the door, not knowing the men were following. Carefully taking a turn, she began to hastily wander, venturing back to the bathroom and pausing, taking a deep breath. When she came out, they'd be gone, right?

Starting out of the bathroom, she was more than surprised to find the three men there, laughing as she clutched her purse and hastily started toward the door, spotting an exiting man, in a suit and holding a breif case starting towards the door. Hastily making her way over to him she intwined her arm with him, continuing towards the door.

"There you are, I've been looking for you everywhere honey!" Just as they were exiting she leaned up to place a quick kiss upon his cheek, glancing back then to see the following men slowly disappear back into the bar. Exiting into the air she sighed quickly, looking to the man and apologizing.

"I'm sorry, so sorry, I was..just...well, I've got to go. Sorry!" Starting to walk off, she smiled nervously, knowing she'd best find her way back to the hotel, fast.

::I'd prefer someone who could match the level I type. Wouldn't mind someone playing the guy she just made a hasty exit with, thanks..::

OOC:

I have no idea what level I is, but I'd like to think I can match anything that's thrown my way ;)

Jason's heart had just about skipped a beat when he had felt the young brunette's arm wrap around his own. Lucio's was not the kind of bar Jason normally visited. It was, however, the only place he could find the particular item he sought after, he knew. So, he had put it all on the line; he couldn't trust anyone in Milan with the precious contents of his case. He dared not leave it at the hotel, not even in a safe. So he had brought the briefcase along, hoping that they would think him smarter than that...

Even now, his knuckles were white from the strength of the grip he was exerting on the briefcase's handle. Hang on to this for your dear life my boy, he remembered his old man's word before he had left Englad, only a few days ago. Hard to believe that a week ago, his greatest worry was struggling with Gray's Anatomy for his midterms. It felt like a lifetime had passed since then...

"I'm sorry, so sorry, I was..just...well, I've got to go. Sorry!"

Only now that she had let go of him, and he was convinced she hadn't been holding a gun to his ribs, he got the nerve to look the girl in the eye. He started to breathe normally again, and ran his left arm through his short dark hair, clearing some of the sweat that had pearled on his forehead. "Room 211." he said, grinning slightly, regaining some of his colors.

The girl with the cerulean eyes turned around at him, her brows furled.

"Room 211. You're staying at the Delta, right? Room 211." he smiled, a warm, welcoming smile that made the dimples on his cheeks appear.

::Thanks, that's perfectly fine. ;) ::

Destiny had been wondering for a few moments who in the world the young man was who she so suddenly grabbed a hold of just to get out of the bar, and away from unwanted followers in the bar. For all she knew he could be some psyco or one of those other shady characters lurking around the bar or...maybe she was exaggerating, just a bit. Not everyone in Italy was going to be out to get her or kill her or anything of that sort, she just figured her nerves were a little stirred. But, quick thinking seemed to save her from this particulary situation. She just hoped she'd not encounter any others for the rest of the day.

"Room 211." Destiny paused on her hasty stride away, slowly lowering her arm holding the strap of her purse to her shoulder, turning her head for a moment wondering what he was talking about.

"Room 211. You're staying at the Delta, right? Room 211." Destiny turned around then fully, those bright eyes of her lighting up for a moment as she smiled hesitantly.

"Oh..wow, that's right. I..really sorry, this place is just so hectic and confusing. I'm sorta lost...the street signs here are so much different from home." She said slowly, letting her purse hang carefully from a slender wrist as she held her hands in front of her lightly, tilting her head a bit to get rid of a few of those strands which strayed in her way.

"I'm sorry, I didn't even tell you my name. I'm Destiny." Holding her purse in her left hand now she extended her right to shake his, continuing from there as she caught that warm smile. He seemed nice enough, not nearly as strange or foreign as everyone had seemed but a few moments ago.

"Could you..help me? I have no idea where I'm going or how to get back to the hotel, if your not busy or anything." He did seem a bit anxious, didn't he? She hadn't been paying much attention, she'd been much too anxious to get out of the bar as quickly and carefully, and making it seem like she was with someone, as possible. The last thing she needed was to show up in the news as missing or something and scare the life out of everyone near her.

Transferring the case from one hand to the other, Jason extended his arm to meet hers and shook it slightly. "Jason." he replied to her silent question. "I'm staying in room 197." Her hand was soft and warm to the touch. He held it a second longer, still smiling a bit goofily, before retracting his own.

There was a second of uncomfortable silence before either of them spoke. 'What stunning eyes' Jason thought to himself, forgetting to keep his guard up for a second. It felt good to speak to someone he could relate to, not to mention understand. Milan was a beautiful city; unfortunately, he spoke very little italian. And if there was something he didn't need right now, it was to feel like an outcast, easy to pick out of a crowd...

"Could you..help me? I have no idea where I'm going or how to get back to the hotel, if your not busy or anything." Destiny said finally, a shy smile forming on her pretty lips.

The twenty-two year-old premed student looked down for a moment in contemplation, shifting his weight from one foot to the other, like he always did when he felt nervous. On one hand, he could continue to walk the streets of Milan alone, sticking out like a sore thumb with his two days-old wrinkled suit and his worn suitcase for only companion. On the other, he could accept the young brunette's proposition and let his life regain some sense of normality, if only for a half-hour.

"Sure." he answered finally, shifting his eyes back to meet hers. "Okay." he repeated timidly before heading down the street with Destiny at his side.

"Thank you, that's really nice.." Destiny walked along side him, taking a deep breath from the previous happenings. No, it didn't really entertain her to think much that she had to worry about followers or other...strange happenings. Sure, it may of happened in the States, but at least there she could tell them to leave her be, and they'd understand her.

Though here, well, it so seemed that nearly everyone spoke Italian. When she was with her group, it didn't seem half as frightening, but out here alone, one could only wonder. She maintained a respectful distance between Jason, occasionally passing him a glance with those blue-green eyes of hers. For the time, with the silence between them, she wondered curiously what may he be in Italy for. Not that it was her business, she knew, maybe he was on vacation or something. She'd leave it at that, knowing that digging into other's business wasn't a good idea.

She passed a glance back the way she'd game, spotting three familiar faces in the crowd. The guys from the bar. Pausing for a minute she turned back, inching a little closer to Jason, wondering why they were still following. It wasn't as if she knew who they were, or had anything they wanted...or so she hoped. Another casual glance over her shoulder confirmed that it was in fact the men from the bar, and they were following, much closer now.

She reached out quickly to take Jason's hand, smiling nervously at him and speaking as if she were talkinga bout something of little concern.

"There are three guys following us. They were following me around the bar, so I sort of slipped out with you, I'm really sorry. I don't want to get you in any trouble, so if they don't leave soon, I'll just try and find my way back before I get in too much trouble." And her personality got the best of her. Destiny had always somewhat thought herself to be somewhat of a bother, no matter what the situation, it was just something that got to her.
