I just came across this item on the news about a 55 year old Grandmother living on Social Security who has just got her first novel published with a 6 figure deal.

I hope it inspires others not to give up - I know it has restored some of my faith in my self - I was starting to think publishers did not want to know "older" new writers.

Just published

I recently had my erotic novel accepted for publication at www.Publish4U.com, an online publisher.

Now I will become a newbie in dealing with the realities of publishing.

I urge everyone out there to go out and buy some of the erotic e-books on the site. (People have to actually buy the book for me to get royalty fees.)

But it is a true testament that it can happen. Once you get that manuscript edited, polished and perfected, see what happens.

It was a "What the hell" gesture on my part, but it actually paid off.
