"Oh, Emily! Stop fussing over my hair!", exclaimed a young woman while frantically swatting away the servant's hands. Her hair had been pulled up into an elegant updo. The young woman stared at her reflection in the full length mirror and sighed.

Aislynn was a princess though her personality was far too wild. She was beautiful with rosey cheeks that accented her darker than fair skin. The queen thought it was dreadful that her child played outside so often at her age of 19. She believed that princesses should be fair skinned and fragile looking and Aislynn was exactly the opposite. Her light brown hair was usually hanging about her shoulder in loose curls, but today it was pulled up tightly on top of her head.

A handsome, young man knocked and entered the chamber. Aislynn looked back at him and said irritably, "Don't you dare laugh, Nathan! I could throw you in the dungeons." Nathan concealed a grin and walked over to her. "It's not that bad, Aislynn." Emily stared at Nathan in shock and said firmly, "How dare you address the princess as anything other than rightful title! You are a servant boy and should act as such!"

Aislynn looked at Emily with digust and yelled, "He is also my friend and a friend may address by my name! Unlike you who are a lowly old spinster who needs a trip to the switches! You are dismissed!"

"But your hair looks dreadful, your highness!" Aislynn pointed at the door and yelled, "Dismissed!" Emily scurried out the door quickly and shut it behind her.

Aislynn pulled a pin from her hair and it cascaded around her shoulders. "Much better." She smiled a beautiful smiled and walked over to Nathan, immediately kissing him deeply. Nathan wrapped his arms around and pulled her closer before pushing her away softly. Aislynn looked at him with confusion. Nathan soflty touched her cheek and said, "As much as I would love to, I can't. I went sent to tell you that Prince Alexander has just arrived from Crystalline."

Aislynn pulled away and looked in the mirror, saying, "When will my parents undersrand that I don't want a prince." She straightened her gown and turned back to him, "I want you.... but I am a princess and must act as such." She kissed him on the cheek before exiting the chamber, leaving him in her room.

OOC: Ok.... I need someone to take over the part of Nathan and someone to be Prince Alexander and some other people too.

Nathan: Childhood friend, castle servant, is in love with Aislynn and she is in love with him. No one knows about their relationship, but Emily has her suspicions.

Alexander: Prince from Crystalline who has always planned on marrying Aislynn. Will stop at nothing to get what he wants.

Emily: Aislynn's personal servant. Not actually a spinster. She is a fairly beautiful young woman about Aislynn's age. She does not like Aislynn because she is so beautiful and is wanted by many men. Has suspicions about Nathan and Aislynn and wants to break them up.(ex: trying to get with Nathan.)

Any other characters are welcome, but pm me first. Any questions or ideas, pm me.

The fair lady walked down a long corridor as Prince Alexander made his way in the opposite direction slowly making their way to their eventual meeting place. Alexander was a tall and relatively good looking man wearing scarlet but simple clothing, on his face was planted a blond goatee that matched his wavy hair. As he made his way the full figured and loud mouthed father of Aislynn chatted his ear off about how beautiful his daughter had become. However the stocky King had little idea how much Alexander had wanted the princess as his bride, he had seen her as his true love since she was barely in puberty and he was exiting it.

Alexander was left to approach Aislynn alone. She gently bowed and Alexander quickly reached for her right hand and planting a long kiss one her most center digits. “Greeting my Princess, I have traveled far to see you. But despite by fatigue I have come straight her to invite you for a private dinner between you and I, I hope you accept.”

Aislynn made her way down the hallway towards the staircase where she was to see the prince, but she was caught off guard when she saw him caming toward her in the hallway.

He had changed a lot since they were younger and she hoped that the dreadful squeak in his voice had disappeared. He was walking with her father who was, as usual, talking about her like he was selling her to the highest bidder. She straightened her gown as she approached him. Her father slipped away for obvious reasons.

She bowed a small bow to him as per custom. He kissed her hand and said, “Greeting my Princess, I have traveled far to see you. But despite by fatigue I have come straight her to invite you for a private dinner between you and I, I hope you accept.”

It was her duty to accept his invitation, but Aislynn's personality showed through as always, "Thank you for the invitation, sir. I see you have matured quite nicely since the last time we met. I can also hear that you have matured quite a bit also." She smiled nicely with a little mischief concealed within it.
