He wakes up and finds himself lying on sand.

Where is he?

Slowly, he gets up on his feet, feeling giddy as he does so. The sun, hot on his back.

Looking around, he sees that he is on a large beach which leads into a forest of palm trees and other types of fauna.

He also notices he is completely naked.

What is going on here? What's happened?

Looking around, he can't see any sign of his belongings. In fact, he can't see any sign of anything.

All there is, is the beach and trees.

Then he makes another discovery.

He doesn't remember his own name...

(ooc: I'm not going to give you a synopsis of this thread since I just want to see how it plays out. It is open to all but currently I am looking for someone to play my character's companion. A man or woman who is in the same boat so to speak.)

Hiding in a grove of palm trees, I watch as the stranger I thought was dead gets up and looks around. I'm force to wonder why folks always get stranded on this island. What did my people do to upset the gods so much to keep sending these poor souls here. And what's even worse, this one doesn't seem to know what's going on, or who he is. Sheesh, are we supposed to help yet another one who will probably build a raft to try and get home and we'll never know if he makes it? Is it going to be up to me to teach him to hunt and survive on this island? Maybe I should let one of the women find him. They might convince him to stay. Hell, we could use a few more hands around here to bring in some food for everyone.

Sara

Sara woke up groggily. She felt... icky.

Immediately obvious was the heat and dryness. Her skin felt completely under moisturised and as she looked down she realised her designer outfit was NOT looking it's best. She almost scowled, but scowling caused wrinkles.

Come to think of it. So did excess sun.

She stood up quickly. Possibly unwise. She felt instantly dizzy and fell down onto the sand again. This time she looked around carefully before making another move.

Trees and sand and ocean. The sun had nothing to filter it's incesant rays, not a single cloud in the perfectly blue sky. It would have been paradise, only there were no waiters, not staff and no 24 hour bar.

She sighed. Standing up slowly this time she looked down the beach and noticed something marring the pristine white sands. A person. A male. A very naked male.

She suddenly had an unsettling thought. What if he was the only one on this island. Instantly she dismissed the thought.

"Don't get silly now Sara... you've been watching way to much hollywood... that sort of thing doesn't happen in this day and age... honestly... an uncharted uninhabited island? Please." She was quiet suddenly.

Perhaps talking to oneself was not the best idea. That could lead to... well... craziness or something. She started walking towards the man hoping he'd notice her soon and at least try to cover himself up. Honestly. Get a man on an island and suddenly they're Tarzan flashing themselves to all and sundry.

Angel:

It was the way we were brought up. Our mothers taught us that the way to survival was to attract the most men. Now that I have been brought back to the mainland have I realised how much it resembled the workings of the animal kingdom.

.......

I discovered him first, at least that was what I thought. His skin was pale but his body well-defined; it made up for the dreadful paleness. Men in our tribe were all tanned and dark.

And he was awake.

Spotting his nudity, I grabbed a piece of huge leaf. It was customary.

Handing it over to him, I told him to have it in my native tongue. He didn't seem to understand a single word I had just uttered.

I watch as one of the ladies from the village approaches the stranger and offers him a leaf. He dumbly looks at her as if he's never seen a woman before. Is this stranger truely stupid or is it that he doesn't understand what's going on. Well, the woman offering him the leaf will teach him, I hope. And she'll hopefully convince him to stay.

At the same time I notice a young lady not to far off who also appears to have washed ashore. She's noticing this man, and it appears she has some idea of what's going on. Perhaps I should approach her. But no, my appearance may just frighten her off.

(OOC: In case you didn't get my PM, panty-tease, just follow the others' examples and join in.)

Even as the realisation dawns that he has no memory, he sees a dark woman emerge from the trees and walk towards him, holding what looks like a giant leaf.

Smiling at first, showing her white teeth, she offers it to him, her lips moving as if speaking.

But there are no words!

He shakes his head even as he takes the leaf.

Then the woman's expression changes, as if she has become concerned. Her mouth moving faster.

Why can't he hear her?

He looks around him, at the waves crashing on the beach; at the birds flying overhead.

He can't hear anything!

Clutching his ear, his hand touches something slick. Slowly bring hand down, he finds that there's blood on it. A quick inspection of his other ear tells him the same thing.

His ears are bleeding! What has happening to him?

He suddenly feels the panic rising inside him.

Who is he? Where is he?

He doesn't see the brunette woman come up behind him, waving...

Concerned

Something seems terribly wrong with this man. Is he mad? Will he hurt the woman before him. I don't know her as well as I should, but we are from the same village. I fear for her safety. Perhaps she will be find, but I can't take the chance.

Without realizing what I'm doing I walk out from the grove of trees, leaving my spear and knife behind. My mind tells me I must be crazy, I don't know what this stranger is capable of. But there is still a little corner of it that says don't scare this man, he could be useful to the village. And it's not like I haven't had to fight bare handed before. Though usually such fighting results in great injuries for me as well as my opponent despite the fact that I always win. And with a potentially mad man, I have no idea what would happen. Everyone else I've ever fought knew what they were doing, they reacted on instinct, but not the animalistic instinct of a mad man. This man could be just that, yet for some reason I can't bring myself to bring my weapons with me.

"Yes, of course," I say to myself, "the women." Seeing me armed might cause him to hurt them if he is not going to already. That little corner of my brain celebrates as it becomes most of my brain with this realization. But now there's a little corner that keeps telling me I must be crazy, I should get my knife at least. But no, I keep moving closer until I stop just a few yards from the two before me.

I look down the beach at the woman approaching and shake my head, moitioning for her to slow down or stop. We can't put him through too much so soon, and my appearance might have done that, but it might not. Still, if she keeps approaching like she is, it might be too much for him, might make him snap. I don't know her, but I don't want to see her hurt either. Nor do I want to see him hurt the woman from my village. Yes, if anyone can help him, it will be her.

I gasp awake...spitting out the salty water...

Where am I? What happend?

I cant remember much, but from the aches all over my body I know it had to be bad. Rubbing the sand from my eyes, I open them to find that Im in rags, my panties and a bit of my shirt are all that really survived...my creamy pale skin is now bruised and burning red from the sun....this cant be actually happening I think

I try to stand but fall to the ground almost immediately, no balance and it hurt so much...I crawl from the beach to some ferns and trees about 50 feet off the shore line...taking shelter from the sun there, I once again pass out exausted from the effort to get here...

Descions

There is a sudden sound coming from somewhere down the shore, not to far away. I don't want to leave where I am, but I don't want to take the chance that what I heard might be a wild pig comeing our way either. Finally I decide to investigate what the noise is. I return to where I left my spear and knife and take them with me. If it is a wild pig, I'm going to see to it that the village has piggy for dinner.

It was then that I saw the blood, and the panic-stricken expression on his face.

Almost by instinct, I reached out for both his ears, and covered them gently as I brought his head close to my bosom. I hope it would have brought some bit of comfort to the seemingly confusing situation.

Discovery

I move as stealthily through the grasses and tress as I can, until I find the source of the sounds. To my total shock, it's not a wild pig, but a half naked woman. And she's out cold, seemingly breathing a bit hard. Her skin is bright red, a sharp contrast from my copper-brown coloring, revealing that she must be fair of complexion to get this badly burned.

Grabbing a palm leaf from a small tree, I move over to kneel beside her and fan her with the leaf.

The dark woman's action catches him by surprise but before he can react, he finds his head being pressed to her chest.

What is she doing?

He feels something touch his shoulder, a movement catching his eye.

Pulling away, he wheels around and finds himself facing another woman. But not the same as the first. No, not a native. her clothing is different. Her skin the same colour as his, light.

Her mouth is moving. She is trying to talk to him.

But he can't hear!

Then the first woman is grabbing him, trying to force his head back to her breast. He pulls away.

Both of them are talking now. But not to him, to each other.

What are they saying?

No! They are not talking. They are shouting.

But he can't hear a thing!

Suddenly, a surge of nausea hits him and he is almost sick. Both women grasp at him but he pulls away.

This is too much! He has to get away. To think!

He backs off. Then as the mixture of panic and nausea continue to rise in him, he turns and runs...

OOC: thought the other girl was passed out?

As he pulled away and ran, I saw the look of fright on his face. I knew I had lost him, at least for now.

Still I followed not far behind, but out of sight. I didn't want anything bad to happen to this man on the island...

another villager?

OOC: Hope you don't mind another guy joining in.

I was out in my hollowed out log boat, fishing for the village's dinner. It looks like we will be eating well tonight. I was just about finished when I noticed some comotion on the far beach. I decide to check it out. I start rowing thinking "I hope its not another bunch of castaways"

I start having a nicer dream...not so much that I remember, but instead of being stranded, Im at a nice resort, feeling the soft sea breeze wash over my skin....mmmmmm, nice....
enjoying this memory, im not waking up any time soon :)

She doesn't appear to be doing any better. In fact it seems like she may be out cold. Worried, I get a little water and gently splash it on her face. No letting her drink it, sea water is too dangerous. But it is nice and cool, it should feel good to the touch. and should wake her. If she can be.

ooooo, whats that I think...i flail my hands to wipe my face....still not really with it, still not knowing what is going on around me... :)

(OOC: There are three women in the thread, Mfucker.)

He only gets a few steps and he collapses, the world spinning.

Unable to move, he watches helpless as the dark woman descends on him and then he loses consciousness...

His head missed the sharp rock narrowly as he collapsed; he must be exhausted from the ordeal.

I saw the other lady catching up, a look of concern on her face as well. They might actually know one another. I should have taken up a hostile stance towards her, like I would to any other girl in the tribe should they pose a threat to me. But somehow I didn't. I even let her touch his face...

As I get to shore it seems that one of the villagers has found herself a new man toy. And maybe even a girl toy. I get out of my canoe and check it out. He looks like he'll be fine. I know I would be if I were him. I walk over to another part of the beach where there's another woman collapsed on the beach. She is a beautiful woman but badly burned and passed out on the sand. I walk up to the man looking over her and say, "She looks bad, maybe we should bring her to the witchdoctor. He can make her better."

I just lay there, unconscious. Totally oblivious to the two women who are now kneeling next to me...

(OOC: Maybe it would be a good idea to take him to the dark woman's village?)

Scared

I looked at him and suddenly felt a little scared for my health, and that of the village, as well as this girl. Oh, it's not that our witchdoctor is that mean, or incompetent. Or is he becomeing incompetent. He's been spending a lot of time over the past few days fishing, usually that seems to get to him after a while.

I reach over and tap him on the forehead. He's used to it, knows it's a friendly tap. "Might I remind you that you are the witchdoctor." If you've forgotten that, we're all doomed."
