So, if this is true I would expect some other States to attempt it also. If I was Georgia, Alabama or any south eastern surrounding State this move would be a major concern. Does anyone understand why that is?

DeSantis won't be governor forever and honestly they get hurricanes on a regular enough basis that I would have demanded they have a ready to go force at least thirty years back. This isn't me trusting him so much as he'll be gone soon enough that I'm not terrified of it.
