"It will be refreshing to have a classy, beautiful, dignified First Lady in the White House," wrote Clay County Development Corporation director Pamela Ramsey Taylor after Election Day. "I'm tired of seeing a Ape in heels."

On Monday, Taylor pleaded guilty to charges she embezzled over $18,000 from FEMA when West Virginia was hit by a 1,000 year flood in 2016.

"My white trash trailer was all shook up," Taylor said at the time. "All those Franklin Mint plates I had stored away were ruined."

But Taylor's home was actually not damaged and she still lived there. She received more than $18,000 in FEMA benefits after submitting the fraudulent application, according to a press release from the United States Attorney's Office for the Southern District of West Virginia.

"The flood was a natural disaster. Stealing from FEMA is a man-made disaster," U.S. Attorney Mike Stuart said in a statement last Wednesday. "FEMA dollars are critical but limited. Stealing critical FEMA dollars is a crime –- literally and figuratively. Taylor’s fraud scheme diverted disaster benefits from our most desperate and vulnerable, those most in need of help."

Taylor had no comment when asked if she was done leeching off the taxpayers or if it was only "those" people who did it.

She lied, she grifted, and she is a racist

She pleaded guilty Monday to cheating FEMA out of more than $18,000 in flood relief benefits intended for those who’d been impacted by the June 2016 floods that killed more than 20 people and ravaged several homes along the Elk River, the Charleston Gazette-Mail reported.

The 57-year-old faces up to 30 years in prison and up to a $500,000 fine, according to the Gazette-Mail. Under the terms of the agreement, she is also ordered to pay $18,149.04 in restitution.

She is expected to be sentenced by a judge on May 30.

Taylor, who was appointed agency director in 2002, has run into trouble in the past and was once fired after being accused of stealing fundraising money, according to a lawsuit deposition reviewed by the Gazette-Mail. She was re-hired a short time later.
