Tea parties have been around for well over 3,000 years. People on all parts of the earth have tea parties every day. So sit down, pour yourself a cup of tea, and let's gossip about tea-parties.

Silly chutiya! ;)

We don't dislike them for their tea!
We dislike them for they have no scones!

It is a trifling matter.

You called me a chutiya! It's only cute when I say it.

Anyway, if a tea party must have scones... here.

Any wonder they crack those fatty jokes about you.

That's for calling me a chutiya.

Care for some sandwiches?

Certainly. I make some lovely crystallized ginger scones I could contribute.

And some refreshing ginger lemonade.

What would a tea party be without a selection of teas?

There are many different kinds of tea that you can serve, varieties include: black tea, white tea, green tea, oolong tea and blended teas.

You can ask your guests what they would prefer before they arrive or you can just buy whatever you think they might like.

That's part of the reason I drink tea infrequently....too many choices! (Though in all honesty I generally go for basic black tea)

I go for green or black tea.

My mum says that when we were infants we were given black tea in a milk bottle from the time we were a week old.

Indians sure  chai.

We don't have a good connotation to tea parties here in the states. Even before the current political party bullshit the last good tea party we had involved dressing up in racist costumes and wrecking shit.

Lovely garden tea party, one that requires the wearing of a fancy, flowery hat.
