With some cities reevaluating police budgets and use of police, some may question whether additional police hiring is needed. But DOJ plans to prioritize COPS Hiring Grant awards to communities implementing the Community Violence Intervention initiative.

The Defund the Police strategy implemented by the Democratic Party didn't work. Rather than have the Demorcratic Party's Senators, Congressmen, Governors, Mayors, and City Council Members admit that they were wrong and reinvest more money into the police themselves, the Blue Party continues to advocate for Defunding the Police while their cities burn, yet, they have a plan: If Biden can use federal money to hire more police for them, then their Defund the Police strategy will have appeared to have worked because the Democratic Party would have never had to admit to the American People that their strategy failed.
