How far back goes your closest friendship?

They can come a dime a dozen, some fast and furious...

I finally found an Oak Tree...

I hit post by accident...

I have a friend of six years who is and will I feel be there beyond eternity...we are not married and rarely hang out together, have different styles, but in our hearts will not die alone...

Right now my longest friendship is 8 1/2 years. Ezzie is my best friend. I have known her since my Soph. year in HS. She means the world to me, and like my Man, I would do anything for her.

Wellllllll, I suppose it would be 13 years now?

How about 41 years? We met when we were both 2 and she lived only 3 houses away from me.
We both still live in the same city.

A closer friend joined us when we were 9, I think, so that one would be 34 years. I'm going to visit her in a few weeks.

Two others are high school friends- both I met 29 years ago.
One of these two I'm also going to visit in a few weeks out on the west coast.


Once you're my good friend, it tends to be for life. It would be hard to pick which is the closest of the above.

As for my closest friendship right now, I've known him for 7 years.

36 years. We have been best friends since the day my youngest sister was born. She is the one person that I know will always be here for me.

I miss InsideShiraz, too. He was usually here on Sunday mornings- anyone see him hiding in a corner somewhere?

I guess it would be about 8-9 years or so. But then again, maybe not that close because they certainly don't know I hang out here!
