Deleting stories

If I have submitted a story that I would like to have removed from the site, how can I do that?

Go to the top of this thread and click on Laurel's name. You will be presented with her bio. There you will find a label for 'contacting Laurel' by PM or E-mail. Click the PM tab. Voila.

The fastest and simplest wayto get a story removed is to re-submit it.

Go to the submissions page, logged in under thesame name you submitted the story as, and submit a story withthe same title plus the word "delete" -- "My Old Story -- DELETE"

In the body of the story, put, "delete this story"

In the comments field, put a request to have the original story deleted, and (optionally) a reason for deleting the story.

It takes time. The story has to move through her queue of stories to the top (I believe she's working on stories submitted about 5 days ago this evening). And she does deletions usually on certain days of the week, so it might take until this time next week to delete it.

Because it would take two to three days. Up to a week if the migration is on.
