Deleting my thread

I am wondering why I am not authorized to delete my thread. I communicated with the participants, who would have been left hanging, at least all of the participants that I cared about.

I have had a personal, and complete falling out with one of the participants and no longer wish to write with this person ever again. I created the thread, why do I not have the option to wad it up and throw it into the fireplace if I want to?

I really would like to know.

It has to do with if you were to delete your thread then you would get ride of all the others that have posted after you started a thread and you could look at it as if you have the right to remove what you have said but you don't have the right to remove what others have wrote.

I belive thats how it is..........Others can correct me if I'm wrong........

I understand and respect that. I can see how deleting a thread could cause others to be left hanging.

Is there a way I can prevent someone from writing on my thread?

Nope not that I know of.......Been here a while and never heard of that just ignore this person and put what happened behind you and forget it.............
about all I can offer on that ........
