Delete my thread?

I tried to delete my post in "how to"and was told that I didn't have the right to delete the thread and that either I was too new or should go to the form rules as best as I can remember.
I did not get the E-mail giving the information requested , nor am I able to find the guideline rules for deleting the post.
Please help.

Duh! Only she can delete a thread in this forum. You can send a PM to her and ask nice if she will remove it. If she feels it is in the best interest of all she will remove it.

Yeah, I can see why you would want to delete some of your threads. I would tell you how to edit, but I would rather see you suffer like an ant with a boy holding a magnafine glass over your head.

Yup you can edit your post, but if someone has quoted you that stays unchanged on their post.

I wanted to remove my post , not for my opinion being stated and available "forever", but because of the dumb ass responses by you and a couple of other perverts and one smart ass were inappropiate and vulgar.
I suggest that you look up the definition of "Troll".

Pay attention this time! alexandraaah is the Moderater you can PM her and ask for it to be deleted, an entire thread that is. Are you listening? Only she can delete a thread. Most times this will only be done if there is a serious problem.

As far as editing Look at the bottom of your post see on the right hand corner it says EDIT. You can edit only your post.

PS. A thread is the entire string of posts on a certain subject.
A post is the individual reply on a thread.

The term "troll" as it is used here in Lit world was new to me as well, so I asked after I saw it a few times. The word is used in a very specific way here that is not i general use.

I will leave it to others to more properly define the term (if anyone cares to do so) but the characteristics of your initial thread posts matched my understanding rather closely.

You posed a provocative question in a brash way with a very low post total to your name. Often experienced litsters will create a new identity strictly for the purpose of trolling a board, and thus it is almost automatic to gauge the seriousness of a post against the poster's total post count.

My appologies to everyone for my so called perverted sense of humor, which wasn't really humor.
I have learned my lesson and no more crap on my part- only serious and honest questions and responses in the future.
"How To" has answered some legimate posts on my part asking for adivse which were answered and correct in regard as to what I needed to do to resolve my problems
