So, do that. Edit and resubmit with a note in the 'Notes To Admin' section to replace the original due to a new edit.

Prepare your new text, then submit the story with the same title with the word EDIT added. Include a Note to the Editor. Edits are low priority, but you keep all of the views, scores and comments. It will take 5-8 days or so to process.

Those are also good ideas if you just want to replace the story with the new edited version and keep the scores and comments.

But if you decided you just want to delete the story, just go to the new story section and submit a request there to ask them which story you want to remove. That area is like sending notes to the admins.
