cant find it in FAQ or anywhere else but how do I delete my account/profile

With only 16 posts, your best option is going to be for you to clear your profile, edit your posts to something that's at least five characters (like "....." or "deleted"), delete your cookies, log out, and don't come back.

It's post 23 in the FAQ.

I don't really see the reason for not being able to delete your profile! Surely there should be an easier way to delete all your posts in one go. I mean, not that I wanna delete my profile, but I don't like to think that if I urgently wanted to get all the naked pics of me off the internet it would take me a fair few hours!!

But deleting any and all files you've uploaded to lit is easy:
go to the User CP under Miscellaneous - Attachments. You can select all the files and delete them in one go.
If the files are hosted elsewhere, I can't speak to that.
And, since they've been posted online, they'll have been downloaded onto n computers by now and it's probable that they've made their way onto other servers by now.

IIRC, actually deleting a member who's posted can screw up the post numbering system in the database, which could affect other members. That's why on the very rare occasions that the admins do intervene, they change the user to a "guest" and replace the contents of the user's posts with the :p icon (though it doesn't affect quoted posts).

It might be nice for users to be able to do this themselves, but there'd be a lot of problems if some cleared their posts accidentally, were hacked, or regretted the decision (just as they regret the decision to join and post in the first place).

As for clearing your pics, you can do what TEK suggested if they're attachments or edit the posts to remove the links (or change where they're hosted) if they're hotlinked. However, with images and posts, it's a much better idea to simply not post anything that you don't want out there forever.
