I submitted a story way back in early January, and it's still pending. No feedback in terms of why it couldn't be posted. In the past, it took maybe only 2 weeks for my stories to appear online.

Has anyone else had this issue recently?

Sorry, didn't know who else to ask, or where to post this question.

Thanks.

Make sure your story is in Pending and not in Drafts. If it's been sitting in Pending that long, then you should probably PM Laurel and explain the problem. It seems like some stories may have gotten stuck in processing.

Yea, it's been in the pending folding for several weeks. Maybe I'll send Laurel a message. Thank you!

I know your pain, stories are miserably slow to publish. I'm getting like 60K hits on my stories and the next chapters are yet to be published. Sad...

The best way to deal with a story that's obviously stuck in the queue...

( 10 days or more, not illustrated or audio. I only say 10 days because I keep seeing reports of a week in the queue before approval. I haven't experienced such long waits myself, but I've seen enough reports to assume it's relatively common. )

...is to view the submission, scroll down to preview, scroll through the preview, and submit it again. That resets your position in the queue, which has so far always shaken loose frozen submissions.

It requires no intervention from Laurel, and depending upon what she's got going on, it may even get your story on the site more quickly. I'm sure answering PMs is below the priority of processing the story queue.
