Delay Deleting A Story

Is there a certain way to delete a story?

In the past, I just re-submitted with the title as you do with editing, but put DELETE instead of EDITED at the end.

After a week of waiting for 3 stories to be deleted, I tried resubmitting the request. Is there something proper i should be doing that I'm not, or are just any submissions/updates taking a while these days?

The editor seems to be bogged down at the moment. The regular story posting is more delayed than usual. Maybe she just hasn't gotten around to it. After a couple of more days, you might PM Laurel about it.

Agree with SR. There seems to be a major holiday/contest bog down, and Laurel has said that edits or deletes have secondary priority to new stories, so they may be even more delayed.

If nothing happens in a couple days, it may indeed be time to whip her a PM.

Thank you guys. Damn brainfart, I completely forgot the contest was on, which does delay things.
