Define game playing?

Hi, I don't recall seeing a thread about game playing. I'm not talking about monopoly or word games. I mean game playing in relationships. I have a hunch that guys and girls might define it differently.

If I am interested in a guy, usually I will mention I'm not into games. For me that means no stringing him along with false promises. I wouldn't lie to him or mislead him. No tit for tat. If we're acquainted, it also means I have the courtesy to respond to his pm's or vm (I have been guilty of deleting pm's without response if they solicit for cyber or phone sex with no other substance).

What do you consider game playing? Do you enjoy the games? Have you been hurt by the games? I'm interested in male and female responses. Help me out? Thanks for your time-Have a great day!!

I guess it depends on whether you mean online or in real life.
I'm guilty of deleting or passing by initial pm's that are too sex based. I'm here to meet people for other reasons than just sex, caming sexually or sex-talk.

In real life I'm also guilty of flirting without any intentions, but I do tell the guy upfront that there are no intentions, which may be written off by the guy as a cover up or something but when I say it's just for fun it is just for fun...

does that make me bad? seriously?

No, it doesn't make you bad. If you tell the person upfront but they don't take you seriously, then it's their problem. Flirting can be fun. I flirt online here but not much in r/l. Something about those masks.....

Sorry to hit a sore spot. I think it's sore for a few of us.

My grandfather always said beware the person who claims sincerity. I guess it could apply to honesty too. I know this place is about fun but there are real people with real emotions on the other end of the message. Being played isn't fun online or in r/l. Sorry you are smarting!

Was just recently involved with someone that liked to play games...unfortunately I wasn't aware that we were playing games and will have to agree with Raidho...a copious amount of bullshit!! but may I times that by 10?

Just want to throw in also that I'm so sick of hearing "I'm sorry" after someone has totally fucked with you head. Sorry just dosen't cut it sometimes...take responsibility for your actions and not depend on "I'm Sorry" to get your ass out of everything!!!!

Yeah I'm pretty sick of games. I'm kind of annoyed of being accused of them too.

Though someone explained it to me.

"You're TOO honest and direct. What's more you're sincere. You always say what you mean and don't care. You might not say everything on your mind but you always say what you mean.

Someone else explained to me a different way which I've taken to heart though.
