IC: I stepped off the train a little shaky, no matter how cool I was, no matter how much I would prove Mum wrong, I still distrusted the big city, deep down still feared its traps.
As I stepped off one of my heels broke, a flash of hard agony ripped through my ankle as I crashed to the ground, my chin slamming against the platform.
