Deficit Spending at Record High

I'll admit it. I am Trump skeptic, a "Never-Trumper," but I would have been pleasantly surprised if his policies, especially those affecting the domestic economy actually reduced the debt and deficit. It's hard to argue with largesse.

That artificial inflation of household disposable incomes by borrowing $20,000 in return for maybe a few hundred dollars in some peoples paycheck while driving up the cost of living is just another con job.

I for one am very skeptical about the "assumed" economic growth that will offset the deficits caused by the Trump tax plan.

And they'll turn around and say, "Oh my gosh, look at this deficit. The only responsible thing to do is to cut entitlements like social security and Medicaid to offset this huge deficit to the budget. Tsk tsk tsk."


That's the script guys like paul Ryan's wrote out for the Republicans...however I think thehy'll hit a speed bump when republicans start to realize its not just the social security and Medicaid for the lazy bums on welfare...but their social security and mecicaid too.


I look forward to watching that realization dawn upon them. I'll have some popcorn ready for it when it does.
