Forget about the quid pro quo of protecting ourselves by having the idf and Mossad battle terrorists in the mid east. Forget about the strtegic benefit of israel.

Israel should be supported not four our benefit but for the reasons the great state was founded. The lands they occupy are naturaly and divinely theirs. they are surrounded by hundreds of millions of non-preservationist states, that are out for blood.

Alm not talking about strategic benefit. Iraq was an illegal unsanctioned police action, in which the initiators should be locked up in the Hague for.

I'm all for using the armed forces. but within the frame of international law and respect for state sovereignty.

In Afghanistan I'm sure they offered Intel. IDF involvement in Afghanistan would have DE- legitimized the war to mid east partner nations.

Look friend im well versed on the promises made after the colape of the Ottaman empire. Ive visited Israel many times, so im not some neophyte. I am a solid supporter of the Jewish people. Ispend as much time donating and fundraising for awareness. We can argue US history, and natives. Most countries had limited claims upon there creation. Israel has more of a claim than the whole lot of them. They have a right protect their citizens and preserve there sovereignty.
Palestine as a state is threat to Israel and for that fact the west.
