Do not take GB for the Flu for it may lead to an increase in projectile vomiting, explosive irritable bowels, feverish deadening of brain cells, loss of IQ points .......

In Crete we mix raki and honey 50-50 and drink hot. Next day either the flu is gone or you get a hangover.
(you could do it with brandy, I suppose, but I don’t know the analogies)

Still remember one night about 15-16 years ago, getting drunk on raki in Istanbul, dancing the hora with the pub owner (?), and having to be poured into a taxi before I crumbled or puked. Haven't laughed so hard in a long time...

I just started taking antibiotics because this is just nuts.

I rarely get sick. Last time I saw a doctor was like 8 years ago for an èmployment physical. Prior to that, a few visits during the 80's for pharyngitis when I was a teenager.
