december by ElmerGlew

torn tendons of yellow ribbon
lie tangled here and there

some animal
with its determined claws
sliced through the paper skin
disemboweling this gift

mother gathers the remains
for burial in the fireplace, whispers
mistah kurtz—he dead

December by UnderYourSpell

Sugar frosted berries and cobwebbed
lace strung amid the remnants
of a summer lost to winters thrall.
Silent flakes drift into hidden hollows
and stark trees break to the burden,
now hushed, waiting, as the earth
sleeps in an iron grip.
Come morning the crisp snow betrays
the passing of small creatures of the night,
desperate for life in a world
hidden and lost.

At winter solstice by tungtied2u

At winter solstice, season's balance
as the sun tilts towards the New Year
leaning towards light, illuminated optimism
perhaps next year

we will tip the beggar, against all odds
the payback will outweigh the investment
hope versus heartache, lay your money down
it's a gamble at best

the sky falls.snowflakes transform landscape
into a silhouette. Shadows and profiles pose,
prolific pretenders, motives obscured
with cold calculations

where is warmth and welcome? hidden
beneath drifts of benevolence, awaiting discovery
the gift beneath the tree, unadorned
unexpected, without expectation

Poem 6

Swallowed In The Snow by ramonathompson

Playin' in a Winter wonderland
Doing such naughty things
She's down on her knees
Working that magic
Blowing me away with all the many charms of her sweet kisses
The snow isn't the only thing coming down
In a scene set for
A seduction in the snow

She knows just how to work it
Got me losin' my mind
Throwing my head back wildly and calling her name
Excited to think
That strangers may come along and join in
A seduction in the snow

Christmas time
And she's decking my balls
With licks of Holly
My jingle bells are ringing
As she moves me ever closer
To unwrapping for her
The biggest present of them all

Can't believe this is happening
Oh orgasm!
Here I cum!
Full force
Into her eager wet kiss
With a drink sweeter then any eggnog
It's a merry Christmas indeed

For a seduction in the snow!

Poem 7

THE WINTER by jadeQ
In December,
the warmth of your body,
the grace of your touch,
I remember.

In my cold bed alone,
not from passion
but from absence
I groan.

To melt the frost,
my hands feel my skin
my body recalls you
inside me lost.

But nothing will do,
not the fantasies,
not the other men,
nothing but you.
