Here's another way to look at the Debt Ceiling:
Let's say, You come home from work (if one is not retired)

And find there has been a sewer backup in your neighborhood....
And your home has sewage all the way up to your ceilings.

What do you think you should do ……Raise the ceilings,
Or pump out the shit?

clearly, its the obama's mission to take America to the sewer so why should we expect the regime to:

a. fix the problem
b. raise the roof?

Then they say unless you agree that all your sewage from now on must be handled by a private company whole owned by their friends, they won't actually clean up the house.

Then having run out of things to demand, they insist you sell them the house so they can put in their own sewage. Then they announce that instead of pumping out the old sewage (it turns out the pump didn't actually work) they are just going to cut small holes in the ceiling so they can let their friends pump in more sewage.
