Poor old girl couldn't stand the loss of her daughter. Heard it said that outliving your kids really sucks.

Many of todays actors are quite one dimensional in comparison. To be able to act, sing, dance, do comedy, romance and action or drama. Hard to find an actor who does all of that these days. Or at least they don't do it in movies. How many musicals come out every year?!

Many of todays actors are quite one dimensional in comparison. To be able to act, sing, dance, do comedy, romance and action or drama. Hard to find an actor who does all of that these days. Or at least they don't do it in movies. How many musicals come out every year?!

We have a few young ones like that but not many. I think you saw it more back then because they sort of had to.

There never were many. The musicals of the 40's and 50's often had actors lip-syncing to off-camera singers.
