Once every winter solstice, her village would offer a sacrifice to the overlord that aided and served as protection to them. They were a beaten down, torn village, the people barley above working dirt. They seemed to struggle for everything, and their only salvation was that overlord. No matter how vile and despicable his demands were, the villagers would follow to the dot, bending at every whim.
The sacrifice was not really what it seemed. The villagers would send a virgin to the looming castle that sat atop the mountain rage that lay to the north of the valley and the village that lay therein. More then likely, the woman would never be heard from again, though every winter; they would send another, and not knowing what fate awaited her or what the overlord had planned.
The overlord was a mystery all on his own. No one had ever seen him for he near to never showed his face to the villagers, and he never showed himself in the light of day. Some of the more superstitious villagers claimed that the man was a vampire, others just left that notion be or ignored it. That was a ridiculous accusation in itself…wasn’t it?
Once more though, the winter solstice had rolled around, and another woman was picked. This time, Riza, a girl barley nineteen years of age, found herself sitting in the herbal bath that the older women of the village prepared for the sacrifice every year. The sweet sent of the herbs and oils filled the steam laden room, though Riza was far too deep in thought to enjoy such a thing. She loathed the fact that she had been picked, for she wished nothing more then to be free of this village and the overlord, but here she sat, preparing to meet the man face to face. In a way, she was scared to see such a man, to be at his mercy. After all, the stories that the people had passed down painted a portrait nothing less then a cold hearted man, a snake.
A soft sigh passed her lips as she leaned back, the tips of her long black hair fanning out against the surface of the cloudy, warm water. No sooner had she relaxed one of the elder women of the village came bustling in, holding up a towel and ushering her out of the bath and into the cold air. Riza shivered as she stood there, the woman hurrying about dressing her. That she was in really was a beautiful dress. It was a silk like material, crimson and black in color. The corset framed her slender figure and rather ample breasts quite nicely, while the skirts of the dress fanned out elegantly around her feet.
There was no time to relax, for as soon as she was dressed, she was being pushed into the carriage that would lead her to the castle. Oh how she loathed how this was turning out so far.
She sat in silence as the carriage sped through the densely wooded area that made up the base of the mountain range, even now she could see the dark black looming shape that made up the overlords castle. She couldn’t bear to look at the despicable place, and drew the curtains of the carriage closed, her arms crossing under her chest. The ride was in silence, her worry and fear of what was yet to come clearly getting the better of her.
(I'm looking for someone to play the overlord in this Rp, please PM me if there's something I should change or if you are interrested in the role. Please if you are interrested, no one-liners, please post at least a paragraph or two, I usually do the same
Thank you)
