YES!!!!!!!!!

One of my all time favorite series by them. It has been awhile since I have read them.

You are starting the series by reading the 5th one? lol.....

I am mistaken, right?

Yes, that was an excellant series of books. It has been a number of years since I have read them though, so I have probably forgot a lot of the things. I'm still willing to try to answer any questions you have though.

I have all of them .... I would have to dig them out of the box ... but I loved them all and re-read them often.

( Weis and Hickman have started a new series too ) :D

Didn't they start back with the Dragon Lance series again??

SPOILER BELOW:

Anyone besides me catch the name similiarities between Fizban and Zifnab, not to mention the likeness of characters.

But theres an error in the novel.... Alfred used the same rune to help Bane in the first book that the Necromancers where using to raise the dead, but Bane isn't a lazar and is stressing me for some reason...

Also in the end of the first book Jerr supposedly died, Limberk's wife, but in the fifth book shes very much alive.

I'm probably being way over technical, just kinda messes up the credability of the authors in my honest opinion.

I'm pretty sure these two are always working on something together... The next book in the War of Souls triology is supposed to be out in May. I've read the first two, they are very interesting. My best guess though is that the gods are coming back to Krynn... Which was pretty dumb in the first place, after all the gods are what made Krynn what it was and they killed the Dragonlance series by doing that, hardly anything is written for dragonlance, well at least it seems that way because I can't find anything new at the book stores anymore. But I'm really excitied about the last book in the War of Souls series, should be pretty good.

And if you dont want to wait for its release, I suggest Terry Goodkinds "Wizards First Rule" Great great great set of novels there. My all time favorite.

Yes that is real good but I seem to mixed his books with Robert Jordan's one... If you want something really really well written and very good too try the The Farseer Trilogy by Robin Hobb.

I read heroic-fantasy since the last 20 years and still have so much fun...

Another favorite series. I just finished the newest book, Pillars of Creation.

He, Terry Brooks, and C.S. Friedman (Coldfire Triology) is top three favorite fantasy authors.

Almost forgot....L.E. Modesitt...Recluce series. Pure gold.

I was totally obsessed with the first four books, but I lost some of my enthusiasm during "Soul of the Fire." I think there are two new ones now, but I haven't been keeping up. I think the Sword of Truth series has everything that the Wheel of Time (Jordan) is missing.
