Costanzo Ambrosi was a well respected man in his community as well as feared among his coworkers. He had started very young in the underworld and quickly make himself a name. He was renown for leaving trails of corpses to whoever dared to try and cross him. By the age of 20, he was a very respected and was a made man and soon about to take the place at the head of the family. A year later, he took place as head of the family and began claiming more territories as he build his own army. He ruled his territories and expanded over the next 3 decades. He was renown for being generous to the community and for throwing lavish parties. He had dates a few women here and there but none of them appeared to be marriage material. His last date made the mistake to have cheated on him and found out the hard way why he was nick named "Death" He might be a ruthless mob but he always been the faithful type and expected the same of his women after all it would hurt his reputation.

After a long day, he stopped at his usual restaurant, "fatte in casa". It was owned by his friend grandfather

Johnny Cortez was from the south side of town where he made his name with the small gangs but that wasn't where he wanted to stay. He wanted move of the apple pie and to do that he had to reach up and grab that ladder that lead up to the big dogs. He told his best bud Aonz, A huge of a man that could put fear in anybody if he stared them down, that he would make it one day, and if he wanted that ride up with him he had to stay close and trustworthy.

One day he had that chance to work for Costanzo Ambrosi, It was a small task for carrying some power across the state line. Johnny pulled the job off well, even when Mr Ambrosi informed an inside man on the law enforcement that the run was taking place and what route. Johnny managed to lose the cops and make the delivery. He wasn't really happy when he found out he was carrying forty pounds of baby power but it was a test and it got him hired.


This dinner at Mr Ambrosi favorite Restaurant he listened to the man talk about his life and what he expected out of Johnny. Johnny nodded to the words, but when the door opened and he saw her, the words were mumbled for his focus was upon her, but the words 'She is my grand daughter' he snapped his head back but not soon enough to Mr Ambrosi to notice the gleam in Johnny's orbs... "Yes, Mr Ambrosi, She has the Family Secrets!" His face holding a slight worry to it...

Costanzo Ambrosi glance back to the girl and back at him: "Don't even think about it, Alessia Bertozzi is off limits..." *sip his wine before looking back at Johnny Cortez* ' you be pick up by Al and he will give you the details....you get that shit done before noon without trouble...."*sips his wine* "you get a bonus....but cross me and they will find you pieces...now go * Its was obvious that Costanzo was annoyed that Johnny notice her and showed some interest*

Johnny swallowed hard at the look he was giving to him by Costanzo. He didn't understand why the harshness, all he did was look back and noticed a young woman and as with any male that seen her would want to keep looking for she was eye candy. He just wished it was some eye candy that didn't have some powerful family looming over her.

He tried to get her out of his mind, but the image of her stayed and continued to replay time and time again. The words of him only having till noon but a hamper on him staying here to long. He slowly got up and nodded his understanding that Al would have the details of what he was suppose to do. He had to fight the urge to look at her, and it was almost a lost cause till he got himself turned away then it was much easier to walk out and wait for AL to pick him up.

AL was actually running late, but stay at the same location.He sent Johnny a long text of why he was late and what they be doing and they might not make the job in time.
Alessia Bertozzi had just finished helping her grand mother with the house work and quickly rushed out the apartment when she receive a message. She was scrolling through the message without paying attention and bumps into Johnny's back: "oh my god, i am so sorry! ...*glance at her cellphone before walking pass him in her light pink dress,with her hair in a messy bun*

Johnny sighed and slightly shook his head. He looked back inside and wondered how he would pay for this screw up for the job wont be done by noon. Well, it wasn't his fault so that didn't matter. He texted AL back and told him that he was just going home for the day. Will call him in the morning to see if there was any work that needed to be done.

Just as he pushed the send button someone crashed into him, his phone slipped out of his hand and slammed into the sidewalk, the battery went one way, the phone the other way, he didn't see what was the third part but it went flying to the left side of him..

"Why don't you watch where...." He didn't finish his words for his breath was taking away as the girl he witnessed inside was now up very close to him. He could smell her perfume and even noticed that she had a little birthmark at the corner of her lip.

Her words were so soft, if compared to silk, the silk would be rough piece of wool. He looked back in the bay window for a second, reliving the words and the look he got from him.. He didn't care..

He followed her from a distance. Watching her form, the way she walked and even tried to listen to her voice ...

Alessia Bertozzi apologize before starting to walk away, she glance back at him before continuing her route. She continued to read her text, giggling as her friend send her silly jokes. She found herself unable to stop texting and playing with her new cellphone. She found herself wondering if she need concern herself about posting so much on her facebook. After all, she end up writing all her thoughts and location she went, it be easy to be track down. She decided to write herself some notes, not paying much attention around her. She had not notice the light had change as she cross the street, nor the buss abot to hit her till she heard the honk. She turn to gasp seeing the bus trying to stop from hitting her as she froze up in front of it...

Johnny smiled at her when she offered an apology. "We're good." he replied quickly for she as on the move. He did notice her taking a second look over her shoulder. He wondered to himself if he should heed the warning he was given or live dangerously and reek the reward of getting to know her. He choosed the latter as he continue to follow her.

It wasn't long before she allowed herself to lose her awareness of what was occurring or changing around her. He was only about twenty yards from her when she walked out into the street. He seen the bus approching and with all the speed he could muster he took off at her and did a flying grab, hold on and roll action that any action pack movie would love. He rolled until they were out of the buses way. Instantly he picked her up and took off in any direction that was clear of traffic.

He put her down and exhaled heavily.."Alessia, are you hurt?" he begins too look her over.."That was too close." He let out another heavy exhale.

Alessia gasps as he grabs and rols her out of the way before the impact with the truck. Winces as she rolls on the ground before he suddently picks her up in his arms: ack! **sighs in relief as she was finally set down , looks up as she looks shock: "ummmm...do i know you? " *she didnt understand how else he would know her name* " thank you for saving my life....i owe you one, Mr...? *wait for him to introduce himself to her*

Her cellphone rings ass he looks down at it and back at him: " mom calling....she must wonder why i am late...." *smiles at him *

He looked her over one more time to ensure she was okay before answering her question. "No, but I know someone who does know you very well. He is the one that told me your name. We were sitting at the café when you left just a few moments ago." Johnny spoke up to her.

"Oh, sorry, my name is Johnny Cortez." He smiled at her quickly, Somewhat surprised how calm she was.. Hell he was surprised that he himself was somewhat calm.. Well that's impressive to himself.

He looked down at her phone then up when she told him whom it was that was calling. "Well, you best not keep mom waiting. " he voiced to her.. Stepping back to give her a little privacy if she was wanting to talk to her.. he waited for her to finish before seeing if she walks on or comes over to him and resumes talking with him. He was ready to follow if she moved on...

Alessia smiles: " ohh thats why...thats so crazy...*shake his hand * " thank you Johnny Cortez, i should of been more careful...*texted to her mom quickly before smiling up at him * Well johnny, i think the least i can do if take you out for diner....that is, if you dont mind if a lady threats you to diner..." *smiles* " you pick the place and i pay us a nice diner...After all, i would like to know more about the gentleman that saved my life... *winks*

Johnny smiled back while shaking her hand. He was a little slow in releasing it, but he let it go eventually. His gaze continued to follow her hands as she texted her mother, then up to her eyes when she addressed him about dinner. "Sure I would love too, but why don't we allow my to pay for dinner, your thank you was enough for this and maybe we can look at the dinner as a date instead of a thank you.." He smile at the little twist he put on the dinner and was hoping she would agree... "And you name where you wish to go.." He licked his drying lip..

Alessia was about to argue but end up laughing: " oh my, aren't you a cunning little bastard....*smiles * "Deal, Mr. Cortez..hmmmm....there is a nice little restaurant named "Candlelight" its on... Picasso street .... Its very nice..." *looks at him* "are you allergic to anything? " *she lead the way* its nearby...about 20minute walk...we can talk on our way there....*smiles*

Johnny chuckles when she responded to his twisting of the deal and made it a date instead of a thank you event. He nodded with approval of her little accusation of him being a cunning little bastard, a little requirement to make it out in the jungle of the streets, for this he was at every opportunity. There were many days that he got caught missing that path of opportunity when he was younger that could have made him a done deal sitting pretty if he would have honed that cunning skill in like he has nowadays.

“Candlelight, sounds romantic ” responding quickly, Johnny was sure to inform her that there wasn’t anything in this world that he was allergic too. Well at least none that he has found yet anyways. He really didn’t stay focused upon the question that long, for he was still absorbing her beauty while he was listing to her talk about the walking time.

“Hey, that sounds good to me, besides it seems you need a walking guide for when you get on your phone.” He chuckled as he extended his arm out to her.. “If I may escort and guide you safely to our dinner date.” He was all smiles. He wondered if she was always this characteristically fun to be with just by her vivacity attitude. He was surely hoping so, for just the few minutes he has talked with her his spirit has risen up.

“I have been told that you are a very good cook yourself.. Maybe one day if I use my cunning I can win a home cooked meal?” His eyes drifted over to her with a beaming smile.. I really do love Spaghetti with it’s variable ways of making it…” he added upon his continuous walk with her…

Alessia Accepted his arm as she followed as she laughed: " Oh please, i get almost hit one time and you already holding it against me, how mean...*fakes pout before she burst laughing* I am sure i could of dodge it...but i was distracted by a second message, you see..."*trying to give him a silly excuse* " I didnt think getting hit by a bus was good enough excuse to not continue texting after all a lady must have her priority straight...heheh" *looks at him * i would say i am a good cook, lets just say, i didn't kill anyone yet with my cooking...hhehe *smiles* You gonna have to make one hell of impression to earn i mean...next time if you catch me falling from a building, i cook you a home made spaghetti meal" *winks*

Johnny smiled when she slipped her arm around his. he lightly clamped down upon it as they walked. His other hand coming down upon top of hers. He laughed when she replied about texting, for some reason he believed her. But made no referral to it, he would leave that one alone for he knew some women put their lives on the line while driving jus to text so there it is...

He smiled, "Well I might have to put my superman suit on sooner than I was hoping if I must toss you off a building, or could you make it easy and just put it that I must sway and divulge you in the most fantastic date you have ever had in your life. Then when I accomplish that this evening we can have that home cooked meal tomorrow evening and then maybe just maybe I will take you out the following night to a place of your choosing again.." He stood sure of himself with his words of preplanning their week...

Alessia smiles as she walk with him in the side walk laughing as she honestly enjoyed his company: " your just saying that cause you want to wear spandex ...." * laughs* " i dont know about tomorrow but perhaps this weekend....i have family things to take care...." *sighs* " i just wish i could pack up and go on a vacation...hehe...So tell me more about yourself.... " *She found herself intrigue by him as he was so funny and great to hang out with. unlike her family that hang around o make endless demand which began to be tiresome. She simply wanted to have some time to relax and have fu which seem to be name: Johnny'

Johnny erupted into laughter.. "Now you have told my secret I must now find another kinky secret!" He looked over at her with this ' I'm just kidding' look upon his face. Although he has seen some sexy women in them as well so he had to reconsider on that thought.

He gave that sorry puppy look at her when she informed him that she was unsure about tomorrow for she had family plans.. "Well maybe I can accompany you to this family event.." Then he remembered the warning.. 'Shit' he said to himself hoping that she would turn him down, for if not all hell was going to exploded tomorrow....

"Well why don't we pack up and go have some fun at the beach, I think we can find a empty house to claim as ours for a day or two.." He was not going to miss any opportunity that she speaks of, even if they did just meet she was tossing thoughts or wishes out and he was going to collect on them..

Alessia laughs: " perhaps you can start wearing a kilt...hehhe...its very breezy....*giggles at the image that came to her mind, glance at his puppy face* " thats sound like a wonderful idea if you want to have me executed by my strict family.... " *stick out her tongue* Why dont you give me your number and i will text you tonight...maybe i will sneak out, so we can have some fun. If you wanna go to the beach, you will need to pack up diner cause my family will; start questioning me if i am going out with a basket...*thinks* IF i can make it, YOU bring the food and alcohol and i tell you when and where to pick me up, deal? *smiles*

Johnny stops for a moment and thanks about the Irish man and nods, "Well only if you wear the nipple only bikini swimsuit!" He slow begins to walk with her again. Knowing his luck she would agree.

His brow arched at her tongue sticking out session and smiled, "No, wouldn't want that at all." Nodding, he gives his cell number to her. "Now, don't go get hit by a bus texting me, for I know I'm high on your priority list but would feel awful if you did get hit because of me." He glamorously rolled his eyes..

"Of course its a deal!" Johnny agreed with a nod and a smile. "Just let me know.." They crossed the street toward the dinner.. "We are still going to have our dinner this evening right?" He was all hopes..

Alessia laughs: "i will think about it, perv...." *type in the number in her cell as she laughs: " One time and you wont let it go...its not flattering,Mr.Cortez.."*smirks* maybe i will do just that, sounds so romantic...*laughs* not many can brag about getting hit by a bus for texting cute messages...heheh ...*glance at the time as they arrive to the restaurant * : 'As long as there is no family emergencies"

Johnny looked at her with a ‘excuse me’ look to his face.. “Did you just call me perv?” he asked and acted like he was insulted at the very mention of Perv. “Hmm, See if I wear your Kilt then!” he looked away from her and was having a hard time from laughing… “Well, See if I…care then..” was the only thing he could think of to buff out the flattering statement along with her smirk.

“Well, Now that you mention it, I don’t think I have time for this..” He remembers the warning and just wants to see how she reacts with him acting like he just lost all interest in her.. It was a risk, but this is how he finds out if she is interested in him or if its just her being nice and after the dinner she never calls or takes the calls.. So it was his turn to be a little cold..

“Well, I need to get going.. Give me a shout if your ever need anymore help..” He slowly begins to walk away.. Smiling, hoping that she either calls after him or calls him on the phone later….

Alessia was shock as he simply cancelled on her: " ...ok...well...have...a nice night? *watches him leave before walking in the restaurant and sat down at a nice table to order. Before putting her cellphone away, she texted him : - You can run but can't hide... PS: esp now that i got your name and number, Mr. Johnny Cortez..... lol-

*she ordered herself some pasta with wine and had a nice diner alone*

Johnny smiled when the phone chirped that he had a message, but frowned when she didn't ask him to come back. 'Well shit, sometime you gamble and lose, he beat himself up over the stupid move, but he wasn't going to crawl back and make him look weak. He texted her back saying well now I have your number and You wont be able to hide from me!" He moved on down the road, heading for the boys hang out.. He needed to clear his mind and a good game of pool would do that...

Alessia find herself thinking of Johnny, its been so long since she had such a fun time. She eagerly grab her cel and texted him:-I am leaving the resto and was wondering if you join me for desert- *She hope he agree to her invitation for desert*
