Looking for an editor who can help me improve my writing and prepare for submission. I have just completed Book 1, 3 chapters, of what I hope will end up being about 3 books, several chapters each. The first book is just over 10,000 word in total length. Category for the story would be Loving Wives. Since I've just joined and this is my first submission, I'm not sure if I should post a few paragraphs here or wait to hear if any of you talented editors would suggest what I should do next. I've tweaked and tweaked and now need a fresh pair of eyes.

The book is about a sexless marriage that transforms itself into a sexual odyssey. Book 1 is the epiphany.

You might get a better response if you switch on your Private Messages. Go to User CP (top left of this page) then click on Edit Options (in the left hand column) and then tick Enable Private Messaging in the second box down. Make sure that the next box down (Receive Private Messages only from Buddies and Moderators) is NOT ticked. Finally click Save Changes at the bottom of that page.

As for posting paragraphs here, that's your choice. Some authors choose not to while others have no problem sharing with the entire forum.

By having your PMs on, editors have a way to contact you other than through the thread.

Good luck with your writing. :)

See how I need you?

I saw that message posted and thought I had allowed private message... perhaps I didn't save it?

Thanks!

If you click someone's name a box appears giving you options to view their public profile, send a private message, and so on. Forgetting to save the changes is an easy step to miss. It's also simple to correct. So all is well. ;)
