I hope that this means the process of rebuilding will be focused around Bernie and the platform that was put forward during the primary but ultimately not adopted at the convention. It should be obvious that the establishment version of that platform was just defeated in this election, along with an establishment candidate.
It seems similarly obvious that the very small margin of loss in the key states along with the winning of the overall popular vote means a lot of Bernie supporters held their nose and voted for Hillary. And the examination of the votes that were cast shows a lot of the vote that the establishment Democrats counted on stayed at home.
But there were definitely a lot of Bernie people that went Trump or Johnson, and some that stayed home as well.
Let's get them back.
