deaf guy + 2 girls = ?????

I started a story that has 6 chapters written. The male character is mostly deaf and meets a girl on a train ride to meet up with his "friends with benefits" partner. The story has 3 chapters of the two on the train with the other girls introduced in Chapter 4. I have the story going to a wedding with old friends... Beyond that, i feel stuck... I have ideas but to get it into the story is easier said than done.

with the way the story is, he dont have that problem.
