When he got there what did he see?
LBJ on LSD.

Yes, it's time to play "Name that Broadway Musical!"

DCL, did you meet a boy called Frank Mills on September 4th right here?

"Woman your fine ointments, brand new and expensive, should have been saved for the poor"

Along those lines...

How about this one?

"When the pill the doctor gave you turns your cold to the grippe/When you stitch to save nine others comes apart with a rip/When the rats invade your attic and start leaving the ship"...

Name that musical!

God, why am I up this late.

When he got there what did he see?

The youth of America on LSD

FBI
CIA
FDR
LBJ

"On the Town" (and for those name dropper lovers out there, I know one of the stars of that film)

"That's Entertainment" (The movie that song is from starred Fred Astaire. Gene Kelly was in the film "That's Entertainment" which reprised the song.)

Here's one: "I love Paris in the Springtime, I love Paris in the Fall..."

That was the American verison. The original lyric was "LBJ on LSD". It was changed when the show moved from London to New York.

I knew this would come back to haunt me

When I was little my mom was heavily involved in community theatre, and somewhere in that vast wasteland of my brain are the lyrics to every musical known to man. She rehearsed her parts by playing the soundtrack 500 times each day. Every fucking day. For ten years.

You Goddamned right you are! U-S-A! U-S-A!

"I'm a Yankee Doodle Dandy..."

Name that show. (And, no, it's not from the movie with Jimmy Cagney)

Soooo Corny

Name the musical this famous song came from:

Hey there, you with the stars in your eyes
Love never made a fool of you
You used to be too wise.

Hey there, you on that high flying cloud
Though she won't throw a crumb to you
You think some day she'll come to you

We've all got a social disease....

It's called Internet.

Since everyone is asking and no one is answering...

I guess I'll put my own in....

"Fit as a Fiddle, ready for love..."
