D.C. officer guilty for leaking to Proud Boys’ Tarrio before Jan. 6

The head of the District of Coumbia's intelligence unit, 24 year department veteran Lieutenant Shane Dumond, boasted to his superiors he had "turned" the head of the District of Columbia Proud Boys (Donald Trump's bellicose brownshirts) Henry "Enrique" Tarrio into a confidential informant, supposedly a major coup for the DC police.

There actually WAS an informant, but it was DUMOND leaking confidential information to TARRIO about department activities, including a planned raid to arrest him for burning "Black Lives Matter" flags in DC. Lamond then asked if the Proud Boys would be at the upcoming Jan 6th rally for Trump. Tarrio. understanding he was being warned in advance, lied and said, no, maybe as spectators but not wearing 'colors'.

Tarrio then turned around and immediately sent nationwide messages to all Proud Boy chapters to delete all pnline chats and group discussions about disrupting the upcoming January 6th rally, and is believed to be the reason that the Proud Boys escaped much more serious conspiracy charges.

Dumond is facing up to 30 years in prison for snitching to the Proud Boys. A guy who is both a cop AND a snitch in federal prison generally has the life expectancy of one month. His best hope for survival is a quick pardon from the incoming administration.

He'll have the protection of a white-nationalist gang. There's one in every joint.
