For all those people in the DC, MD and VA area, trying to get a happy hour organized for after the new year. Post here if you are interested so we can try to get as many people there as possible. If it works out, we can make it a more regular Occurring event. Hope to hear from you all... :)
 
would like to attend

Possibly will be moving to the DC area and would be interested in attending...will be flying over from SA for an interview and would like to attend if the timing works out...if that would be ok??

You are welcome to attend. Anybody that wants to come is welcome. Just a friendly get together to meet new people. As I hear from people I will try to nail down a date, time and place.

Not at all. I think it will be a variety of people of different ages. Just hoping to meet some interesting people and share some laughs.

I think people should start throwing out ideas for dates / times / places etc... I know I won't be available until the second weekend in Jan. And I would prefer a Fri or Sat evening. So what does everyone else want?

what we want is a loaded question dont you think rae? :D second to third week in jan is fine with me, but the 14th is out, its my bday, got plans for that already :p
 
lets get some feedback on some dates... Jan 12 and 19 are wednesdays and Jan 14 and 21 are fridays. Let me know your preferences for one of these dates. I figure 6pm would be a good start time to let everybody get away from work. I need some ideas of places near a metro stop since I believe that is the easiest for most people. I will do some research too. Spread the word to others in Lit that you know. Hope everybody is having a great evening. :kiss: :rose:
 
Travel plans

I just wanted to say thank you for the kind invite...
however my travel plans are for the first weekend in Jan so I will not be in town for the 14/21st...but if I do move there will definitely be interested in attending a get together..
