(Looking for 1 female to join me in this story. PM me if interested)
FBI headquarters, Washington DC
"This is how it will work out." FBI director Stan Morehouse told the peaple that had gathered in the conference room. He looked at Devlin with a smile that didn't reach his eyes. He didn't like Agent Devlin one bit but he respected his ability to blend in everywhere. The man had a very common face. It was only when looking him straight in the eyes that you saw the glint of purpose. His dark red hair and green eyes was a sign if his irish heritage. None of it showed in his voice. Devlin sounded like the average american from New York. But Stan knew that Devlin could change his accent at the blink of a eye.
After the talk with Devlins boss in New York, Stan knew that changing roles was in the agents nature. David Mills had even told him that he was worried that Devlin might be unable to turn it of. Devlin had played different roles to long and Mills was afraid that the man had lost himself somewhere along the way.
Devlin was 32 years old and had been in FBI for 10 of them. When he was 20 years old his father had been kidnapped by a terrorist cell. His father, a FBI agent that had been undercover, dissapeared. Devlin hadn't believed the lies that he had been told and made an own investigation. He found the terrorists and infiltrated them. On a boat owned by one of the ringleaders he had seen his fathers tortured and dead body. To be able to survive among the terrorists he had not reacted to the sight even as he screamed inside. He couldn't allow himself to cry. Even after the terrorists was apprehended by the authorities he couldn't cry. 1 year later he was contacted by his fathers boss David Mills and was asked to join the Bureau. Right after he started his training.
Stan Morehouse looked down at the papers in front of him. "Paul Warner is a major threat to our country. We know that he are planning something, but not what." Stan look at Devlin. "This is where you will use your skills." He say with a slight smile. "This is Julia Warner." He put down a photograph in front of Devlin. "She are his wife. We do not know if she are involved but we don't think so." Stan sigh deeply. "From the intel we got it is more likely that she may be a target than a accomplice to her husband." He look at the other agents. "All here know that Paul Warner is aiming to be the president of USA one day. Something that we can't allow." He turn to Devlin again.
"That is why you will get to know Julia Warner. To find out what her husband is up to. If she don't know she can be a way to get into Paul Warners circle." He smile slightly.
