Hey, i thougth sence some people'd been posting picture threads i'd jump on the band wagon with the page for Linsnser's Dawn. The fellow is an air brush/ comic book artist. now before you go rolling your eyes know that i'm a fine arts major in college, and it takes alot for me to not roll my eyes and ignore stuff like this, but this fellow's got a really amazeing talent, and if you like red heads in skimpy outfits looking oh so sexy, then this has some real eye candy for you.

he really seems to capture the feel of old pin up art work, and combines it with modern concepts of a bad ass assian chick..i dunno, i like it, i'll even give you a sample picture...slave or mistress? probably both, i'd be happy licking Dawn's boots any day.
here's the web page:

as i said previously, normal the words "comic book artist" makes me chringe. but not when you use his name, he's got a fabullious concemt of color theory, deisgn, and value/contrast/shadeing. the stuf fhe dose moves beyond just pretty pictures and is very close, if not fine art. i really can't think of another person in his fiend i'd say that about.

i also enjoy the symbolism involved in alot of his art work. it's obvious he's an intelegent human being, and is well versed in his mythology. do you mind telling me if his you'v seen his work in non print media, and if it's as vividly stunning as it is in print form? i'm thinking it would be more so.

Yes my dear, you are what I would call - a bombshell.

I love Dawn... she's probably my favourite comic-character (for looks) of all time!

Well, that too! Are they mutually exclusive?

*sigh*
What can I say.......I have a limited amount of time..And I would rather pursue the Real beauty (even if unobtainable).

More on topic.
I have always loved the art for Dawn. Used to have some of the REALLY old issues. Back when it was "Cry For Dawn" I think. Been a LONG time.
Though to be honest - for story I still go with J.O. Barr.

I've seen a few paintings of his in person, and the originals are worth the thousands he wants for them.

If you like fine art with a comic book twist, you should check out Alex Ross...some impressive stuff, even if he did base his Wonder Woman on the drummer from Queen.

*laughs and hoists up her boobs for confidence's sake*

i'll see what i can do, if i have the money one of my b-day presents for myself (other then driving to galveston to get my free tatoo *heart*) will be a little web cam. not to mention i'm trying to work my way into a photo shoot with this georgious fetish model/subgenious woman. *hearts for sissy Decidance*

hehe... either way i'll eventualy post something, and yes, flattery does get you everywhere *winks*

On the same subject. Give 'Drew Posada' a look. His work is spectacular. Unfortunately, a lot of artists seem to unjustifiably lose credibility when saddled with the title "Comic Book Artist". Rather unfortunate considering a lot of the talent out there, case in point, Mr Linsner.
