Daughter finds mom’s copy of dad

So had another sci-fi idea:

Mom is going away on a long trip and has daughter housesit for her. Daughter agrees, needing a place to stay at while she apartment hunts but gets bored as well as depressed as the last time she spent a long time at home was her dad’s funeral.

So one day she decides to rummage around in her mom’s room and finds her mom had made a copy of her dad (I was thinking of hardlight hologram but it could also be an android). Curious, she turns it on.

Now, the copy knows it’s a copy but it mimics her father perfectly: his lame jokes, his chuckle, even his smell, in all ways it’s like her dad is back and she starts to grow really attached.

Still though, she keeps it a secret from her mom, not wanting her to know she found it. Of course she can’t help but find out one day that the copy has “extra functions” and discovers her mom was also having sex with the copy.

Copy of course chides her for any judgement, saying everyone grieves in their own way. Daughter tries to understand and goes to sleep in her bed with dad’s copy holding her like he had the last few nights…only since she left the extra features on, he grows an erection which daughter feels.

Copy explains that it won’t do anything she doesn’t want and explains her father (whose memory it used to base itself on) never thought of her sexually…but the copy is open to having the same kind of relationship with her as her mother if she wants it.

Daughter of course is taken aback but it’s been a long time since she’s had sex and while the copy looks like her dad, it isn’t him, so she tentatively gives it permission and they have sex…and then they have sex again, and again, until mom comes home and finds a copy of her husband and her daughter fucking on the couch

…and copy simply explains everyone grieves in their own way…and activate the copy she took with her on vacation that begins undressing her in front of daughter.

You could create a supremely emotional tale with a few tweaks.
Mom has just passed away. Her adult daughter who has now lost both parents before turning twenty five, is there to settle her affairs, and go through her mother's things, sell the house, etc.
She finds dad. A gynoid, clone, whatever.
But he's there and she needs him and slowly he helps her get over her loss.
She's never found a man to stand up to the example of her father and eventually it becomes more erotic.
Perhaps they figure out a way to change his appearance enough so no one realizes who or what he is and they get to live happily ever after.

Wow... I don't like incest erotica, but the emotional loss/grief/healing component here is intense...

I would put some attention to the point why her dad's copy is into fucking his daughter? I have two ideas:
1) Daughter is very similar to her mother when she was younger and the copy mistook her (daughter) for her (mother).
2) Although dad was a lovely person, he had rather low libido. Mother loved him and stayed with him, but when the copy creator asked her if anything should be changed, she wanted the copy to be more sexual. And for whatever reason (glitch, mistake, hopefuly not sabotage), it made him horny for daugher too.

TBH this particular take feels off. I can't see a reason why it wouldn't be the real dad.

I agree with @PennyThompson and @Rob_Royale. This premise has great potential. I'm also not a fan of the insest angle, and have been racking my brain trying to solve it without weakening the connection between the daughter and the father.

The best I can do is that it's her own boyfriend who her mother has copied. At first the daughter thinks it's to process her mother's grief, as he was well loved in the family. They all lost someone dear. She decides to keep her mother's secret, as she obviously hadn't felt good sbout sharing the clone. The daughter understands it is weird for her mother to suddenly show up with such a clone.

Now you can go many ways. You can continue the original premise, going for processing grief, as well as finding out it hascan erotic function.

You can also delve deeper into why her mother has an android of her boyfriend with an erotic function. Maybe the technology hadn't matured when dad died, and her boyfriend is similar. We often choose people similar to our parents. For me it takes away the insest (even if it is an android), leaving only a weird family dynamic. I can live with that.

That being said, insest makes a lot of views (and low scores). So do what you want to do.

Man, lots of good ideas here. It could be multiple stories in a shared universe rather than a serial story. Or a series; either works. But we need all of these different variations as separate stories/chapters. They can come together later if it works.
