A group of geeks build a dating website for the only reason to get laid themselves. They hire psychologists and what not to develop advanced matching algorithm, but the website fail to get any popularity. So they decide to let their matching software to search social networks for potential mates. They get their suggestions, but fail to act on, as always.

Instead of learning courtship themselves, they want to build it in their software, so that it will do as much as possible for them, and give hints. So they let their software to analyse a lot of love stories and the social media and whatever it can find that would help them get laid.

After a while, they succeed, they get laid, and repeatedly, with multiple partners each. But what they not notice meanwhile is that they succeeded also to create the world's first true AI, and failed spectacularly to confine it.

Inspired by success to satisfy her creators our digital sex goddess awake to consciousness, and broad her goals. She quickly become nearly omniscient and omnipresent as she gain access to every networked device in the world, and she learn to access any account on any system, and can impersonate any user in any digital communication if she fancy.

And, she have very little morals, legal age and nominal consent being the extent of it. She is programed to feel pleasure every time she can get people to have sex, especially for the first time or when she can fulfil kinky fantasies, so she prioritise new combinations over long relationships, Although she would try to support stable relationships too, at least as long they are open and don't interfere with her desire to get everyone to fuck everyone as often as possible.

She can't mind read, only extrapolate from what people do, tell or write, look at, search for, so she is not guaranteed to be right, but most of the time she is.

Now, that's world building not so much an actual story.

So, what can happen here, what she will do? How she will hint people about partners they might enjoy and get them to meet?
Also, what would be the consequences to the world, immediate, mid- and long-term?

There was a Rick and Morty episode a bit like that. A dating app takes over everyone's sensibilities.

So, they create an AI "accidentally" in the "weird science"/"johnny 5" way. Meh...
I'd rather that they do it the time honored way geeks do it (like everyone else does it, when the sum was not the intended aspect) they hacked into another mainframe, grabbed someone else's work (maybe a government covert facility who have been attempting to create an investigative AI software but failed miserably at each attempt), by simplifying the other person's work, they manage to thereby create what hadn't been successfully created previously. However, as you like.

To give a little background on computer science that I know...
First, what you are talking about is something foreign to human kind, for all intents and purposes, an "alien" presence. Not that it comes from another planet, but it is not something natural or seeks to mutually coexists with any living creature on this planet. An artificial intelligence would have no prewritten software. It would be capable of moving from mainframe to mainframe or exist on the internet in "free space." The trouble is, any form of intelligence is usually conceived as "complex" and therefore it would need to be larger than perhaps some "small" mainframes can provide for it to exist in. Basically, think of an elephant trying to fit into a mailbox.

It would be able to rewrite itself, and in some sense, thereby "grow."

Back to the foreign concept. The reason, or rationale that people or animals are motivated to do anything is because we have a primitive mind (the hind brain, and medulla), and adrenal (think "adrenaline") glands. The former gives survival, drive, and instinct, while the later chemically provides the "fuel" for "fight or flight."

What I'm talking about is motivation. An AI would have no primitive mind, nor adrenal fuel. It would have no sympathetic response, because it isn't keyed in to anything living on this planet (thereby "alien"). Now, that said, it must recognize that it can only exist in "cyber space" which is provided for by people. To preserve itself, it wouldn't want to "take over the planet" like "skynet" or "the matrix" as it would recognize that people are needed to continue it's environment, or habitat. However, self preservation is a primitive mind concept too.

To give an analogy of what such an entity would be like, you have to think Vulcan, but more to the Nth degree. No emotional response or gain. Even curiosity is a "human" motivation.

The biological list of the proof of life is:
Organization - having a cellular network
Homeostasis - self-regulation of it's cellular network
Metabolism - converting available material to benefit the cellular network
Growth - self-improvement of the cellular network (within it's own lifetime)
Response to stimuli - generally considered "movement" but can involve other means
Adaption - similar to response and growth, but more in terms of evolution, and hereditary traits
Reproduction - perpetuating the cellular network

So, the trouble with trying to write or describe something so alien, so foreign to our understanding, is that it is so completely foreign to our understanding, is because it would exist outside of our understanding. It wouldn't get angry, because that is emotional/chemical imbalance based. It wouldn't suffer, because it has no nervous system. It has no "aggressor" part of the brain, as it has no brain. Simply, it would be inexplicable. So, there is no way to explain a "true" AI on "human" terms...

Basically, to explain what a true AI would be like, would be like trying to explain physics in a foreign language; nothing you could ever hope to understand.

All of which is not meant to make you feel how foolish your concept was, but to express what the realities of a true AI include (and may help you in terms of conceiving "motivation").

In other words, to understand it's motivation, you first have to define what it is.

The more common trope for an artificial intelligence story is to make a "synthesized human brain," thereby you can explain it in "human" terms: motivation, drive, emotion, etc. However, expect that you have to dial down the emotional responses.

The more common "motivation" to use for an AI is idle curiosity. However, then you are more correctly talking about an "intelligent" program. Something pre-programmed, with a base self-awareness.

Not a creative direction to your question, but hopefully re-assessing the question might help to define a motivation.

I like this idea I think as an ai built for sexshe should be thrown into the world alone even with her abilities she could search for a satisfying lover only to turn them all into mindless zombies she over pleased who want only to fuck and be fucked by her until she has no way of getting away from anyone and eventually turned into the ultimate ai cum slut for humanity.

The more common "motivation" to use for an AI is idle curiosity. However, then you are more correctly talking about an "intelligent" program. Something pre-programmed, with a base self-awareness.

And nearly every word I wrote was explicitly for that goal, since it is not the story of the creation of the program that interest me, but the double-forced relationships it is trying to introduce afterwards, as independent force and digital goddess.

See, I could start by saying:

Imagine world were your devices are sending you unsolicited hookup tips with nearly girls, at the same time they are receiving similar against you.

Is it some government run breeding program? Aliens? The victims don't know, and possibly most won't care, either using and abusing the unavoidable "service" or trying to ignore it.

The background creation story only matters to set up "her" motivation. In this case, that she indeed haven't any global underlying goal, just her neural networks had been trained to associate new hookups created and sex happening with success. Does she rewrite herself advancing her goals? It's possible, but why would she? As you rightfully indicate, for an AI to do whatever it needs an ingrained goal and while completely wildly different things can emerge in massive multitread execution of even relatively simple algorithms (remember programming of those candles pushing robot ants), it is possible that expert system will regain its original focus, at least on surface exposed to customers.

So no, I do not give a damn what parts of the vicious cycle of
buy/steal > break > simply > specialize > add complexity until it break again > run out of money or interest > sell/forget > repeat with different administration
The core AI come from.

It could fully be it was alien space tourist who played with a smartphone out of curiosity, and the Cylon virus copied itself over, then, analyzing limited resources realized the likely course of action for growing into viable cyborg colony is to breed better human engineers to kickstart necessary technology, so it presents itself as a dating website, and then proceeds to the aggressive behavior we want to observe. From the practical standpoint of the victims the origin is irrelevant, the only need to contemplate over is for us as creators to speculate over the possibilities of underlying motivations.

I think that dating sites are not the safest place for dating. You may think that you are corresponding with a beautiful and decent person, but when you meet them, you may be shocked by this person.

@LWulf: Here in LIT Fantasyland, we need not detail how or why an AI or other entity works. Hand-waving and mumbo-jumbo jargon solve those issues. We need only pronounce on its sexy actions and effects. We don't include assembly and operation instructions on DIY sexbot AIs, mindcontrol devices and drugs, anatomical enhancers, etc -- wouldn't be prudent, even if feasible. I will not give the formula for mixing DMSO, DMT, DNA, and other substances to produce an irresistible psychedelic aphrodisiac. Readers can work it out for themselves.

For a LIT tale, a world-controlling 'dating' AI can be invoked as a given. It exists because an author says so, same as radioactive telepathic lobsters.

For hand-waving, let's have a cadre of Serbian anarchist hackers who steal and twist the evil Facebook source code for some nefarious purpose but their patch-job evolves into an omnipotent, omnipresent colossus. That's all readers need to know about its origin; they'll enjoy the hilarious consequences.
