I think dinner dates suck really. My idea was to hang out at the Mall of America, sounds teenager-ish I know. But we can talk freely and all the scenery would generate conversation.

Yeah, I 'm nervous...my personality comes out more easily when I can comment on the surroundings, or this or that. But I'll be alright.

That's what I was thinking. I won't want the date to end when the meal is done, and I'll suggest either the mall or drinks at the bar

I don't think that sounds "teenager-ish" at all...I just went on a date there and it went very well...

Definately will try to make it to the mall, Applebees of course is right beside the mall or IN the mall, so that should be an easy transition.
