Collectors: Are employees of the keeper that collects rare and in some cases dangerous items for the shop. Keeper: a mysterious figure that runs the shop a place where dangerous and rare items are stored and sold. The Shop: a store that exists outside of time were people come to buy and store rare and or dangerous items. The Vault: a place were rare and or dangerous items are stored. A collector is paid for every item they bring back only when it is sold. He may instead sell it to anyone he or she chooses making them a free agent: someone who works for themselves but collects only to collect more items to sell. The keeper may not even be human, yet time in the shop passes differently then the rest of the world so he may yet be human.

Tsukumogami an object of greater then one hundred years that has gained life. A Tsukumogami may posses the owner of the object instead of the other way around. The shop has always existed as long as humans have created things. The keeper has existed as long as the shop has or has the shop existed as long as the keeper. When an object is created it is given life. After an object has absorbed enough life it become aware of itself and the world. This is called a Tsukumogami there are good and evil Tsukumogami just like there are good and bad humans. Collectors seek to gather the Tsukumogami objects of great power. The collectors who work for the keeper seek to shield humanity while the others seek them to increase there own power.

History: Amelia Brown is the Daughter of the famous collector Jamison Brown a private collector. Part of an exclusive group he tried to bring her into the fold on her eighteenth birthday. Her mother had long ago left him as he was obsessed with collecting objects far more then the needs of his family. Taking the shears and sewing kit she fled to the shop her fathers ancient enemies. She became a collector mainly to punish her father for ignoring her for all those years.

Objects: Master Key; (unlocks any locked door, barricades as simple as a chair will stop the door from opening.) Silver manacles of the princess; (ironically locked to one wrist and won't come off. These seal her body and mindset to the age at which they were placed on her.)

History: Celia hails from a little known part of Europe in the time best defined by the fall of Rome, which she has witnessed at least three times in her long life. At the young age of 16 stumbled into the shop and stumbled out slowly over the next two years ending up some years before she was born in farthest reaches of roman power, or more precisely on the wrong side of Britain's great wall. It was in this remote place that she was placed in a set of silver manacles. While both hands where bound she became very adept at the art of movement, building up agility, speed, and endurance dodging those that would take advantage of her situation.

The next story begins ten thousand years later, when the shop keeper told her of two different items that could remove the silver manacles, the master key which could unlock anything and everything, and the shears that could cut them off. Of the two she sought after the shears first and in her classic style found the key in Russia along the way. She quickly used the key but was unable to lock the left side, which had a piece of stone jammed in it from a rock she had used millenniuma in a vain attempt to free herself. As time went on she began to suspect removing the manacle may age her rapidly, she doesn't know if its true or not however.

I like the idea of the Tsukumogami, but I have a few questions.

Considering the Tsukumogami have sentience, does this give them abilities such as telepathy, self-movement or immortality?

Are we allowed to play as Tsukumogami?

How is "The Shop" accessible? Is there some specific Time faring race that is able to visit it, or some specific group of humans that can, or random humans?

If we go forward in time enough, are there infinite races in space, or just a small amount, or just Humanity?

good job on your charecter cats. i thnk i might join as a human whose object can interact/take control of him given the right circumstances. ill see what i come up with. i hope i can join.

K i have a character but... it doesnt quite fit in with this. What i could do... is as you havent said anything about it... I could have a human in possesion of a Tsukumogami that endows imortalty and some basic magics... at the cost of the humans soul. the Tsukumogami feeds of the blood of the innocent (see where im going here?) and doesnt control the human... per say... more becomes a part of them and modifies there thinking a wee bit
