Dark Side of the Moon...

Sorry man, never had the chance to see the Floyd live. Is what you're talking about on videotape?

yes, it's on video tape...

It also includes their Dark Side of the Moon recording sessions... it's wierd to see Mason so young and rockin'.

I think their cover art rules, man.

If you play "The Wizard of Oz" with the sound down, and start "Dark Side of the Moon" on the MGM Lion's third roar, you will experience something different. Set the CD on repeat play, it will start over at least three times during the course of the film. You probably already know this.

Oh Purp, please tell me what happens. I've never heard of that and it seems like an excessively strange thing to do.

You have to see for yourself. Everyone's experience is different.

OH man! Can't you at least tell me what YOUR experience was like? Do you have to be stoned or high to appreciate it?? lol

Try this-
Place the cursor over the picture and right click on your mouse - you should see an option "save picture as" and "set as wallpaper". Not that I would ever break those copyright rules!!!

Shroom-a-zoom-zoom. Believe it or not, "Turner's Classic Movies" ran "The Wizard of Oz" in July, and if you had a dish you could switch to the Spanish mode, and the Floyd soundtrack was on there for you. The heartbeat at the beginning and end of the album is seamless. I recorded it.

Nothing earth shattering here, songs and scenes seem to end and begin coincidentally. Not having dialog helps you appreciate the masterful photography, even the black and white scenes are beautiful.

Wut a World, Wut a World...

The Wizard of Oz is incredible...

Strangely enough, when it came out in '39(?), everyone hated it, (it was the year of the "Colour Movies"?). It wasn't until it was run on television, that people realised how fucking great it is...I never forgot the people waving from the canoe inside the tornado, it turned my imagination upside down...

Definitely a mind-bender Shiraz, and that rotton old bitch Miss Gulch. Reminds me of my sister-in-law. "Wizard" might have walked away with a lot of Oscars had it not been for some movie called "Gone With the Wind."

I've just recently started to deeply explore Pink Floyd, good mood-altering stuff. Dark Side is my favorite so far, but there are plenty I haven't indulged in yet. Gilmour is amazing.
