I've received a couple of PMs from someone calling itself huynhnhu9152 titled ThÃ*ch rồi, NicoleZ. Since the sender demands a reception receipt, I thought I'd warn everyone just in case it is some sort of phishing and if you receive one, do not confirm! Delete it!

I have forwarded it to Laurel.

I PM'd Laurel some time ago about them. I received four so far.

Out of curiosity I'd like to ask you if you've received a lot of messages of the "Jennifer has your club membership" and "Hottest nude babes for you!" kinds too? Before I joined Lit I almost never had any spam emails but now there's plenty of those.

I'm up to about 50 from that sender. I notified Laurel. Maybe they'll be banned soon.

Not with this user name.

Last i looked I had eight. laurel has been notified.

Are these spam e-mails on the account you use just for Lit or a more general account?

Ditto

Ditto, I think five so far....we'll be'a fighting the 'Bots' it seems, me lads and lasses.

And of course, we all know to never, ever, open a link from these vile machines ;)

Yes, two in the last two hours.

Perhaps it's a cheap Christmas lunch, you know, spam instead of ham....

(Yes, I do have a day time job.....)

And here I thought I was the lucky one. Good thing I'm not the jealous sort. Deleted a couple as well. As for Jennifer, I can't be her type. I'm hurt I tell you. Hurt!

"Very droll, minister." :D

I don't have a specific "Lit-email" solely for use in conjunction with this site but wouldn't it be so much fun to have one! Just imagine the tears of joy and cheer an email from nicolez@literotica.plc would bring the unfortunates employed by H.M. Customs & Revenue (your IRS).

Oh dear, the injustice! I'm ever so upset on your behalf. Perhaps she might send you one if you too wrote a story about her and posted in i LS?

Laurel's pm must be overflowed. I got 2, sent 1 to her.

But I'm not sure clicking "confirm receipt" will do any harm at all.

No Lit doesn't have e-mail boxes as such but the e-mail you registered with is the one you get e-mail notification from Lit on and e-mail feedback from readers. This e-mail is not disclosed unless you reply to e-mail feedback.

The best thing to do is to use a separate e-mail address for here.

I've never gotten spam of any kind on my Lit only e-mail account in the whole time I've been here.

It confirms that you read their message, which may flag you as a higher priority for future spam.

They may also use it to hone their spamming strategy, e.g.: is there a specific time of day that works better for getting recipients to read their spam before Laurel notices and nukes their account & sent messages? (I presume even Laurel sleeps some time.)

So probably better not to give them that info.

I think she's fixed it; I had about 7 in my e-mail Inbox this morning, but they'd been deleted when I logged on to Lit. a few moments later.
As there appeared to be several problems with the fount, I simply deleted them.

Subtitled "Chloe gets an invitation (to an adventure?) she cannot refuse" and I really do think you're on to something that with your usual touch will be quite spectacular! :)

I only got one, and didn't get a chance to see it. I got a notification on my email, which showed the sender name and the nonsense message. But it had been removed from my personal messages by the time I logged in.

The sender is now shown as a banned profile.
