* * * * *

I’m happy to say Dancing Angel is finally published under New Stories. I’ve worked off and on for the past two years on this piece. Being my first girl/girl story, it was definitely interesting to write. And, very enjoyable.

I hope Angel is enjoyed by all who read it. It’s a fun story to read, with lots of detail and action. And, lets not forget, an amazing night of passion.

It has been about four years since I’ve submitted any writing on this site. And – I’m pretty damn excited that I’ve finally accomplished a story. I’m my own worst nightmare when it comes to my editing. I go over it again and again, until I’m finally happy. I think I am there. I think I’ve succeeded in writing something I can feel proud of.

Please enjoy my first fictional girl/girl story. (Link Below) I liked writing it so much; I think I might try this category again someday. I would love to hear your comments. Please feel free to write me here or by email.

And – before I go, I’d like to thank all the editors who helped me with Angel. The editors program is valuable and even though I’m a tough editor myself, their help was definitely needed. Thank you so much, all of you…

=============================

I read your story, and I particularly liked the way you have of expressing some of the rapturous moments. There's a very personal sweetness to many of them.

Thank you,

mismused, thanks for your kind words. I'm glad you enjoyed Angel. And, to your thanks, your most welcome.

Ma'am..I first would like to say thank you. and secondly tell you how i throughly enjoyed all aspects of your story.

from the watching from afar...

..I took the rest of her in, grateful for the shadows. She was unaware as I watched, my eyes riveted. Her breasts were full, their ivory tones obscured in a golden glow. Pale nipples accented the soft curves of her flesh as she caressed and teased...

to the caring lustful romance...

...“I’d…” I couldn’t finish the sentence. My nipples tingled, burned from the effect of her touch. I stood paralyzed, enslaved by her wandering fingers. Closing my eyes, I enjoyed the sensations as she pulled, taunted and teased. I was lost in their magic as they danced against my flesh...

you wrote a captivating story with great depth....Thank you again

p.s.
of course this is my opinion.... if you don't agree then I guess you don't.

I kept waiting for an indepth crique, so I wouldn't have to. After all, who wants to critique excellence? My points are mere quibbles:

I would have liked the dialogue earlier. I loved the atmospheric setting of scene, but you may lose some readers by not grabbing them harder initially.

Does anyone still make wine coolers, let alone drink them? All the ones I see are spirit based- vodka, rum, tequila etc.

Your heroine says she is part of the bi world, but is she really? I had the sense this was her first real encounter with a woman. Maybe I read it too fast. Was the ambiguity intentional?

She semed to vault into the dancing mode very quickly. Here is the only spot where you don't show the reader her thoughts, and it is the point where we most wonder "why?"

I thought the dance portion was underplayed after the beautiful set up , and considering the exquisite sex scene, the middle was underdone.

As noted already, you didn't rush the sex- the staged development builds beautifully. The patient reader is rewarded.

Well done.:rose: :rose: :rose: :rose: :rose: ( cause its a "5")

ryu_kenshi, I'm glad you enjoyed reading Angel. It truly makes my hard work worthwhile... Thank you for your super response.

Hugs Kat

sirhugs, thanks for your indepth critique. Even stories that are said to be well done, have flaws. Mine is no exception.

Hugs Katerina

P.S. This was Cassie's first experience. It should have read...I was no longer close-minded to the bi world--I wanted to be a part of it. Will have to change that... Thanks:rose:

Thanks

I would like to take a moment to thank the people who have left me amazing feedback under public commments and have sent me personal emails as well. I appreciate all of you taking the time to write me. Its nice having my writing enjoyed, especially after working so hard on it.

Again, thanks so much. I hope more readers will click on Angel and enjoy it.

its so sublime a sequel might risk losing that quality, but I was left wondering what happens after:

does she continue with Desiree?
is Desiree bi or lesbian?
does she continue dancing?
how does she resolve her sexuality- was this a one off experiment, or will she be bi or lesbian?

Hi sirhugs...hey, you have me confused. Or, are you confused. Desiree? There is no Desiree in Dancing Angel. ;) I think you must be thinking of Dezerae in my other stories. Serena is featured in Angel, remember? And...Cassie.

Your questions are good ones...I'll give it some thought.

Doh....me confused...that's what I get for going from memory...Serena became Desiree, for no particular reason ( other than her sultry temptress quality?)

See sirhugs, I knew you were confused! Anywho, just to let you know I submitted Angel again. Did a few more revisions. Geez, I'd better stop this, or I'll go stark raving mad!

And, I'm on a rampage. I've edited my other 4 existing stories on Lit, too. I wrote them so many years ago...What can I say? They needed some adjustments. I'll be resubmitting those very soon.

Hmmmm, it seems once you disappear off the new pages list, you're forgotten. :(

so true.:(

If you occasionally selfpromote on thr forum, mentioning the specific story to people interested in the theme, you might get spikes of interest.

Entering contests also introdices you to new audiences, a few of who wil read your back list.

When I get positive feedback on a new story, I try to suggest specific older stories the reader might like. Which is a reason to keep posting. Even if you don't get feedback, a few readers of new stories wil hit the link to your author page. I know when I find someone unfamiliar whose new story I like, I go looking foe more. But then, we know I'm odd.

If I ever got one on a Toplist, I could verify comments that this keeps views going.

You are not the first to observe this phenomenon.

Hey

Thanks for the tips sirhugs. I shall try to keep self-promoting...Someone has to do it, and it might as well be me...but as for my older stories...ummm, they are currently under revisions. I hope to have the revised ones up soon. My old stories are still there, I'm just not big on promoting them until I've touched them up a tad. Will I ever stop editing? Probably not...
