There are some wild, all night dance clubs here in Las Vegas. They usually start around one or two in the morning and go until dawn.

What you see from a balcony above is sometimes pretty raw. Five hundred plus, dancing, writhing, hot bodies are enough to make any observer wonder. A bunch of people are doing something to another bunch of people. The constant flashing of naked body parts can only hint at what is really going on. Raw material for a story?

I can't help it....ever since the movie Dirty Dancing I can't resist a good slow dance...the kind where your bodies are grinding together and you are all but having sex on the dance floor.

I was at a dance this weekend and couldn't help but notice the couples who were sharing this experience...

How about just a simple boy meets girl, boy asks girl to dance, very intimate dance leads to the two of them going home together type of a story?

Or maybe they are so passionate, they can't even make it home. They just crawl into the back seat of his car outside the dance hall.

Met my last girlfrind like that - playing pool with the owner of a Honky Tonk in upstate N.Y. and we owned the table all nite. The money was flowing along with the beers and we couldn't miss a shot. My partner was so drunk he couldn't stand up- had to keep tellin him if we were shootin highs or lows .......but what the competition didn't know was that was the way he shot his best pool. At about $20 a game we were drawing em in.

A cute little gal at the bar pulled a chair over and asked if she could watch me shoot. She was shapely, and with a sweet smile.

Between players we slow danced a couple times - nothing unusual just some nice slow stuff. But I sure liked the way her head fit on my shoulder, and it was obvious she had a hunger. After the pool run ended we both went somewhere a little quieter "to talk." A dive with a good dance floor - few coins in the jukebox, as I recall......Give Me One Reason to Love You.... banged itsef out over the dark dance floor. . We danced a nice slow grind with my leg between hers and with lots of feeling and admittedly more than a little showing off. She said "Everyone in this place is watching us." So we gave em something to watch.

We spent 4 years together and whenever I hear that song ....... I remember that nasty dancin and the lady with the sweet smile.

Where ever you are Jill ....... please save the last dance for me.
