Well ... you get an non-spayed female, a non-neutered male, toss them in the closet and wait until the fur stops flying.

When the female goes looking for that closet a couple of months later ... voila ... cats.

That or put cat food out behind your house on a regular basis.

I've found that the second option works faster and more reliably. Seriously!

Thanks for the links, heckle. Much obliged. :)

If you want something quick, easy, and cheap....

Buy a spool of leather lacing, cut about 7" longer than your ideal length. The Make a single knot with all pieces and leave enough leather at the end for you to hold comfortably. It will pack a nice sting with all those falls. I would suggest at least 10 strips.

My first flogger was made from leather lacings and a sawed off golf club.

But it was no substitute for a real one. Get a jar and put a spare dollar in it once in a while till you have enough to get a good one.

I've got my eye on a quirt this week, then I'm going to save up for a braided cat. While I'm saving, I thought I might try to make a rope flogger. After that, onto other toys. :)

If it helps PS I got both my quirt, crop and whip at a tack store...the most I spent was $16.00 for the whip (its 5' with a small piece of braided rope at the tip) They have many great little tid bits for not alot of money and they are well made. My quirt was $8.95 and my crop was $12.00. It was so much fun when the sales lady said " You must have an unruly horse"...I responded "No just an unruly pet" She laughed and winked at me.

Unfortunately, from where I live, the nearest one seems to be about 30 miles away. :(
well....you can always come over for coffee...and then we can do a little shopping at the tack shop...and then we can come back here and make sure the stuff is working properly before you go all the way back home. :D
