We had a huge Chihuly exhibit in Minnesota a while back, rooms and rooms, it was so cool. A big ceiling of ocean stuff, people were lying on the floor looking up at it, I was there for about a half hour doing it too.

The Belligio Lobby in Vegas is nice, but nothing as great as the ceiling installation the MIA had here.

It was far too crowded for laying under when I was there, though I'd have loved that. Instead, you just had people walking into each other over and over again as they moved through the corridor since everyone was looking up.

His website has photos of installations including one on the Grand Canal in Venice. I confess to having swiped my shots of the Miami installation from Chihuly's site. My own photos make the entire show look like a collection of plastic swizzle sticks in a potted fern.

I haven't checked to see if the Minnesota and Phoenix shows are on his site. But I will now. Enoy.
