Daisy and Liam are characters first portrayed in The Screaming Tail Strip Club. The first few posts are copied from the thread, so will overlap.

Daisy has been a stripper at the club for about 4 years, but lately has been doing more serving instead of dancing. She met Liam when he came looking for a job at the club, where he currently works as a bouncer. He's an ex-rodeo cowboy.

As this story picks up, they are leaving work and heading to dinner at Liam's place.

I'll introduce you to Daisy, and give Wolfias an opportunity to introduce Liam to you! :D

Daisy Lynn Freeman is 24, and grew up on a farm with her brothers. She is very intelligent and has a good heart, she wants to take some college courses - one day. She lives alone, has no children and no current boyfriend.

Daisy's heart was pounding as she leaned up against the car. He was so close, and that wasn't anything new, but this was the first time they were actually alone with no one around. And it was dark out here. Under the stars. The romantic in Daisy couldn't help but be aware of the manliness the cowboy exuded.

She reached up to stroke his cheek with her right hand. "Well, cowboy, I s'pose that there's no reason to put it off. Let's go have that dinner you promised." She let her hand fall back down to her side and smiled. "Just don't get me sick."

Liam McIntyre stood a rangy 6'4'' 215 pounds, Tan, Blue eyes, Neatly trimmed black hair. Born and raised on a Ranch he learned at an early age that hard work ain't gonna kill ya. Tell a Bull that! It ain't agreein with yer philosophy it just wants to do three thangs. Eat, Screw and Put a cowboy six feet under purty damn quick. Years on the Rodeo circuit had plum tuckered this ol' cowboys carcass out. Only one Championship to show fer it, too old for rodeo and too young to retire. A trophy don't pay the bills and here he is a Bouncer at a strip club. Protectin purty lil ol' dancin gals, and then there she was ... Daisy a doe eyed brunette that had her eye on him."

Liam continued to grin expectantly awaiting Daisy's answer, she sure is a pretty lil gal with big brown doe eyes. Would she say not tonight? Think he's goin too fast? Maybe another time, never getting the chance? This ran through the tall cowboys mind in a continuinous loop. A warm soft delicate hand stroking his stubbly cheek snaps him out of it. "Really? Ya don't thank I'm goin too fast? Bein too pushy er somethin?" Her gentle hand against his cheek, quieting him as a Whisperer with a wild Mustang.

Removing his Stetson out of respect for a lady Liam behaves the true southern gentleman. "It'll be my pleasure to cook dinner fer ya Darlin." His crooked little grin returned once more before he chuckles at Daisy's little joke. "I'm purty sure ya won't git sick, maybe gain a lil weight in all the right places. But that's bout all. "Patting her hand before releasing it placing his Stetson back on, opens the passenger side door for Daisy. "Ladies first, and I'll drive. Yer purty lil feet must be killin ya." After she's in he closes the door Liam to walk on around to get in the drivers side. the car was a mid sized sedan as his knees end almost end up under his chin. Chuckling again as he's let's the seat back almost as far as it'll go.

Starting the car he pulls out of the lot heading to his place. "Hope to have my 67 Chevy pickup finished soon, it's gonna shine like a brand new penny." Giving her a wink and grins her before turning onto the road that led to his place. "We'll have to take a ride out in the country for a picnic one afternoon, whatcha thank bout that Darlin?"

Daisy laughed, "I like picnics just fine, but we'll have to see how you do with the cooking tonight before we decide on who's gonna pack that basket!" She was surprised that he had helped her into the car, treating her like a lady. It had been a long time since she'd had anyone paying such personal attention to her. It made her feel special.

"Is that the truck you crashed when you first started working at the club? Did they ever find that guy that hit you? I'd be so mad if someone did that to me, and if I ever found him, I'd .... I'd....I'd punch him in the nose!" Daisy didn't know why she was so upset at the thought of someone hurting Liam. It didn't even occur to her that she was upset at all. She just naturally cared about people, which is one reason she kept her distance when it came to her co-workers. She didn't need to get caught up in a relationship, get her heart broke, and then have to see them the next day at work.

But Liam might be different. She looked over at his as he drove, his hat back on his head and his hands steady on the wheel. Liam was sweet and handsome, and maybe just maybe he could cook!

She leaned back in the seat and put her feet up on the dash..."Take me home, Cowboy, and fix me some victuals!"

A soft chuckle and a glance was Liam's response to her teasing about his cooking abilities. "Oh? Well...don't worry yer purty little head bout that darlin. I took Home Ed in High School to meet girls..learned a thang or two bout cookin." The dashboard lights silhouette Daisy's face against the darkness outside of the car. She was the most beautiful when she was like this, bare feet up on the dash mischievously teasing him. Unable to do anything but admire this woman, that at one point had scared the hell out of him. He hoped this was the start of something that would last, maybe she's the one.

Turning off the ignition in a rush to get out of the car, forgetting to unfasten the seatbelt Liam almost strangled himself. Fighting with the strap knocking his Stetson off he managed to catch it before it hit the ground and put it back on. Taking a deep breath to gather his wits before walking around to open the car door for her. Opening the door trying not to burst out laughing, but when his eyes met hers he doubles over in a fit of laughter. Amidst the laughter his words were unintelligible as he said something.

Daisy grabbed the door in one hand and the seat in the other when he hit the brakes. It wasn’t until he pulled up to the house that she realized he had reached out to hold her back, and that his hand was covering her breast. She didn’t know what to think, she knew he wasn’t being a pervert and coping a feel – she could deal with that, and did every time she had to dance and smack hands away – what she was having trouble coping with was the way his hand made her heart pound. Hopefully, he couldn’t feel it racing beneath his hand.

She sat there watching him fumble to get out of the car, trying not to laugh at the way he got stuck in the seatbelt. But, as he started laughing, she couldn’t stop herself any longer. Stepping out of the car, she was laughing harder than she’d laughed in a long time, and it felt good.

“I hope you’re better at cooking than you are at exiting a car!” she managed to say as she closed the door and started up the sidewalk to the house. Turning around and walking backward, she added, “Let’s go, Cowboy, I’m hungry!”

Spinning back around she walked saucily up the walk and up the steps to the porch, her hips swaying as she grinned wickedly at the house. Daisy knew exactly what she doing. “Are you hungry, too, Cowboy?”

Liam finally caught his breathing from laughing so hard his belly hurt, the moment that he made a fool of himself now over. It was like a weight was lifted off his shoulders he didn't even know was there. "Oh fuuuunny!" His long legged strides caught him up to her, grinning as he's facing her as she's walking backwards. "Don't fret lil lady, yer gonna be satisfied."

Daisy knew what would get Liam's attention he couldn't take his eyes off her shapely body. She was gradually leading him to one conclusion, it was one he didn't mind reaching at all. "Oh Yeah! I'm so hungry I could eat a horse, hooves and all." Stepping around her pulling his keys from his pocket. Grinning over his shoulder. "Don't get grabby back there now ya hear?" Liam unlocks the door he opens it holding it for her to walk on in. "Welcome to my lil patch of heaven, Darlin." Thankfully I had cleaned the place from top to bottom, it's still nice and clean.

Daisy grinned, it sure was easy being silly and flirting with him. There was nothing about him that was intimidating…at least, not to her. Entering the house once he unlocked the door, she stepped into a living room that oozed with bachelorhood. Everything in it said ‘man’ from the leather couch to the color of the carpet and what was hanging on the walls. But, it was clean and tidy. That spoke a lot about a person right there.

“Well, will ya look at this! How much you giving the maid to come through here each week?” she said then laughed. “I’m kidding. Nice place you got.” Daisy walked over to a chair and sat down in it, putting her feet up on the hassock. “It’s pretty cozy for a man cave, right?”

She noticed that there were some rodeo magazines laying on the coffee table and some CDs, but she couldn’t see the title of those. “You’ve settled in pretty good around here, haven’t you, Cowboy? Is there anything I can help you with in the kitchen? I know how to pour juice and all.”

Walking into the house Liam breathes a deep relaxing sigh, hangs his keys on a horseshoe key holder. Removing his stetson to place it on a bust of Will Rogers with a wry grin as his Daddy would have had a fit. Watching Daisy look around with a smile, she didn't turn up her nose at his little slice of home. He felt it was just another reason to love the cute little Brunette, anyone could've seen the wheels turning in the cowboy's head especially Daisy.

Daisy teasingly commented about a Maid, replying as straight faced as possible he's very convincing. ''I reckon bendin the gal over a chair, bangin the hell out of her does the trick." With a wink and a grin he leans over patting her thigh, he ambles on into the kitchen as he rolls up his sleeves. "Just teasing Darlin." Washing and drying his hands, pulling a cast iron pan out of the bottom cabinet to set on the eye of the stove.

"It's Mama and Daddy's ol' place, I didn't have to settle in I just come on home.'' Looking into the living room with a big grin he spoke. "Git yer sexy ass in here gal. I got taters and mushrooms fer you to wash and quarter." Waving Daisy into the kitchen to get some food into her sooner. "Didn't thank ya were gonna git outta work now did ya?"

Daisy stood up and followed him into the kitchen just in time to see him put the pan on the stove. “I don’t mind helping, you know, as long as I get paid in food and not bent over a chair.” She retorted as she started washing up. “Taters and mushrooms, I can do with not problem.”

Daisy started pulling open drawers looking for a knife and a cutting board, and she found them is quick order. “Your mama must’a put things together in here, because I found ‘em right where I thought they’d be.” Setting them up on the counter she put her hands on her hips. “And I bet those taters and mushrooms are in the fridge, right?”

Liam couldn't keep from chuckling over Daisy's quick comeback at his teasing her about a maid he never had, as he tossed together a quick salad of fresh garden grown vegetables. "Don't worry Darlin...you'll get paid in good ol' cowboy grub, I promise." Turning from the stove he couldn't help but look on appreciatively, as she unintentionally struck a sexy pose with her hands on her hips, well to him it did "Yep, you'll win that bet gal."

As Daisy opened the fridge to bend over to get the mushrooms and potatoes, crossing his arms to take another long admiring look, with a broad grin on his 5 O-Clock shadowed face. "While yer at it, mind fetchin those 12oz. T bone steaks fer me too?" Expecting her to make another teasing quip like (Had a long enough look at my ass cowboy? or should I stay bent over awhile longer...)

Leaning back against the stove without looking, Liam soon felt the heat of the skillet handle on his ass, he quickly jumps off the stove rubbing it. Thinking to himself, hope Daisy didn't see what he'd up and done to himself. He didn't have much choice in the matter but to rub the sting out of his ass, he'd know soon enough if he heard a sudden fit of giggles from the fridge.

Daisy grabbed the steaks along with the mushrooms and potatoes before standing back up and walking over to get them out and set them on the counter near the sink before turning on the water. It never crossed her mind that he would be watching her bending over in front of the fridge, especially since he had been busy working on that salad.

She took a moment to watch him rubbing his behind, “What are you doing that for? Is that a special ‘salad dance’ or something that’s supposed to make the dressing just right?” she grinned and shook her head. “Maybe if you move your hips a little bit to the right, if might happen faster, I don’t know. Dressing is hard to understand. Try this.”

Moving her hips to the right and the left again, in a circular fashion, Daisy started humming as she washed the potatoes in the sink. She looked back to see what Liam was doing, if he was following her movement, and found that he was standing there looking at her bottom sway. She stopped and shook her head at him. “No wonder you weren’t a dancer at the club.”

She set the potatoes aside and picked up the mushrooms to brush them off. “How many of these do you want me to work on?”

Turning back to the stove to adjust the temperature of the grill, trying not to crack up as she was trying her best to make him. looking over his shoulder as she teases him, Liam made sure to get a look at her gyrating ass. Caught he couldn't help but chuckle "OK OK, I confess I wusn't dancin, just don't take me long to know a skillets hot."

Turning away from the stove their eyes met as when getting out of the car, Liam couldn't hold it together any longer he cracks up. Moving closer to Daisy trying to decide if he's just going tickle or take her in his arms and kiss her deeply. He'd already unwrapped the bone in Ribeye's from the butcher paper and seasoned with salt and pepper on each side.

Liam moves in takin Daisy into his arms to place a deep kiss on her warm soft lips, it was up to her if this was to go further or end the kiss and finish cooking dinner. If not dinner would have to wait till later or if they got too carried away, it just might get put in the fridge to be cooked much later on that night.

She was a little surprised when Liam pulled her close and kissed her. Not that she objected, she just wasn’t prepared. Here she stood with a potato in one hand and a knife in the other, and being kissed like he was ready to carry her to bed.

Daisy pushed him away after a few moments. As much as she wanted to continue, she wasn’t sure now was the right time. Was there ever a right time, though?

She cleared her throat, “Look here, Cowboy,” she said in a soft voice, “when I asked you how much you wanted, I was talkin about food. The sustaining kind, you know? This here, it tastes good and all, but it won’t keep you from starving.”

She wasn’t even trying to be sassy this time. She simply didn’t want to get in over her head with him. Daisy had realized not long ago that she actually had feelings for the tall, handsome cowboy, she just wasn’t sure where she stood with him.

Liam's pale blue eyes were apologetic as he's gently pushed away, face reddening slightly with embarrassment. Now he knew Daisy was not to be rushed, she was a woman you took your time with and proved that you're trustworthy. Daisy was worth earning her trust, he would let things happen naturally. He spoke softly as he apologized. "I'm sorry fer that Daisy, I shouldn't have rushed you."

He turns to the counter feeling like the biggest fool on earth while picking up the salad bowl. Turning to the fridge putting it in to stay cold, taking a flat pan out for Daisy. Placing it to one side of where she was halving the taters. "Here ye go, the olive oil's in the white bottle. Giving Daisy a soft pat on the back of her left shoulder. Just add a lil salt 'n' pepper 'n' a lil rosemary after oilin the pan and taters OK?"

Taking a Spanish onion from the bag hanging in the corner, right next to a string of dried red Chilies. Removing a small onion peeling it for a quick dice, smashing a clove garlic with the side of the knife it's peeled and diced also. "I watch the food network when I git a chance." With a slight grin he gets butter from the fridge to cut off a chunk to put into the pan. Scooping the dice up between his hand and the knife, placing it into the pan it sizzles in the melted butter. "Would ye please slice the mushrooms? Just toss em in will be fine.

Keeping himself busy cooking for a purty gal like Daisy was a first for the long tall cowboy. But it relaxed him after the awkwardness that was his own fault earlier. "What happened earlier was obviously my own fault. But bein busy cookin Dinner fer a purty lady, well it's a first fer me and nice with someone to cook for." Pulling a Mason jar from the cabinet he pours virgin olive oil into it, a lil red wine vinegar and a touch of Balsamic vinegar. Adding a lil garlic oregano and parsley to the dressing, screwing the lid on tight gives it a good shake. "After the taters roast a little I'll toss the steaks on the grill. How do you like yers, So done it's unrecognizable, or a good Vet could have it up and walkin in a few minutes?"

Daisy could tell that he felt like she had rejected him. The cool air between them was almost palpable, and she was almost sorry that she hadn’t let him continue. Their easy rapport was taking a big hit with this, even as he worked beside her and told her what to do with the taters, so she was very glad that he tried to make light of things with the comment about her preference for meat.

Taking that as her cue to just be herself and enjoy the company and the food he was offering she piped up, “Well, Cowboy, the only meat I want moving is usually in my bed.” After she said it, she realized how it sounded. Why wouldn’t he think she wanted to do more than flirt when she was saying these things to him. No wonder he was acting hurt, like she had been teasing him – that’s the way it was coming across.

As she threw the mushrooms in with the onion and garlic, she felt her face turn red for the first time in many years. “Sorry about that, Cowboy. I just mean that I like my meat well-done, no mooing on the hooves.” She turned to look at him while she leaned against the counter. “Look, it’s not like I don’t want you kissing me. I just…you make me want more.” Shit, where was she going with this? “I mean, I don’t need a ring or anything, but I don’t want to just warm your bed for a weekend, either.” Gosh, she was making it sound like she wanted a long-term thing.

Pushing away from the counter, she went back to oiling and seasoning the taters. She did want him, and she did want to have more than a one-nighter – but she wasn’t looking for a proposal or … she was feeling so confused. Daisy had no idea how to put into words or thoughts what she wanted. Maybe the best thing to do was simply take it as it comes.

With that in mind, she reached over and patted him bottom as he stirred the pan on the stove.

Liam turns away from the stove eaning his shoulder up against the fridge, crossing his arms maintaining a straight face watching Daisy blush. He gives he'd a smile. "I know what you meant, Darlin, well done." He was just going to let her talk till she got right in her own head. Pushing his stetson up with a finger. She'd eventually spit it out just give up trying, but damn she's just the cutest thang. She wore tight jeans in a pretty top with this red and white checked apron, two long curls hung down to frame sweet face.

"Hun, I don't know what the hell I'm doin half of the time. So don't worry yer purty lil head bout it, OK?" He reaches up to turn the black vintage radio on, it had set on the fridge for years before restoring it. Southern rock plays as the steaks were ready to turn, Liam has his back to the stove to do so. Daisy reached over and pats him on the butt as he stirred the pan on the stove. Giving her a wink and a grin he chuckles shaking his head as she'd finally relaxed. "I tell ye what, yer somethin else." He flips the steaks with a nice sizzle."

"Lifting the skillet smothers the steaks in mushrooms and onions. "This is gonna be so good ye'll slap yer grandmaw." He gets some Texas toast spreads a little butter on both sides putting them in the skillet. "Oh, will ye put the taters in the oven to roast up? Liam pulls a bottle of red wine and cork screw removes it with a pop. "All we need to do is let that breath." Daisy has the salad well in hand and the fried bread takes a minute it's done. "Salad bowls in a cabinets above you and bigger a one for the taters.

"I set the timer on the stove or I'd burn em up." Liam got a platter from the cabinet plating the steaks. "Mmm ... look at these?" Liam gets the plates, silverware, napkins, place mats and the wine glasses to trot off quickly to set a very homey table. "Tables set!" He calls from the small dinning room as the tables set for two as he lit the candles. Entering the kitchen finds taters and salad in bowls and the dressings made. Liam grins getting the steaks and bowl of rosemary roasted taters "You did that really fast Darlin!" She's gets salad, dressing, bread, and wine glasses. "Let's have the dinner I pestered you enough about?" Flashes a playful grin. "After you Darlin." Liam follows Daisy into the dining room. "If you're a steak sauce gal, you're outta luck in this cowboys house."
